Just because you can doesn't mean you should! 😁
So many just think that if a technique is "trendy", they should use it. I'm a firm believer in giving stuff to users as soon as it's ready. They don't care how flashy your site is - not really - they just want at the content. -
That's not what "triggered" means.
Unless you were traumatized in the past and css is triggering old memories and causing a mental breakdown.
Also; I don't do humor today. -
ultrono23508y@samk yep :) if anything these silly OTT CSS effects add nothing to the user experience. It's annoys the hell out of myself :)

I'd go to the extreme, I quite like 90s old school design with frames and non-anti-aliased fonts.

@CodeMasterAlex Fair point. I guess the features have their place, they're just being overused by people too keen to show off without adding any value.

I'm really beginning to hate css3 and all the new WebKit style effects. They are literally making loads of sites unusable imo.
Why, every time a page loads, does everything need to slowly animate/transition in. It's sooooooo annoying.
It's nearly as bad when Jquery first made it easy to fade events in.
I'm such a fan nowadays of I fussy websites where the content just displays.
