humanity was a mistake

I start from the presumption that everyone I know or meet is disappointing and will disappoint me.

Do the same and soon you will come to realize what I did: disappointment is an ordinary thing that we all should expect.

Humans are pretty mediocre. Patience is a good quality to cultivate asbuffer for the great big let down that is humanity.
