Eight spaces per tab is standard indentation style in the Linux kernel coding style. They say if you indent more than three levels, your code sucks.

Mr-Myrk5335y@Pogromist sublime for text purposes, since it has the best editor capabilities and is lightning fast. Anything jetbrains for intelligence.
