Eight spaces per tab is standard indentation style in the Linux kernel coding style. They say if you indent more than three levels, your code sucks.

Before it was 4 spaces but now it's doubled for some reason.

@cafecortado i use notepad to memorize classes, methods and so on without IDE hints.

@Pogromist sublime for text purposes, since it has the best editor capabilities and is lightning fast. Anything jetbrains for intelligence.
