Upwork obviously allows this to proliferate. Though it's unsurprising since indians do the same thing with actual recruiting firms.

It's funny how they think their proposal is somehow a major opportunity.

More an impersonation scheme.

They get n jobs on upwork accounts in stronger markets to bypass geopolitical concerns using a single strong dev to handle interviews and the like, farm the actual work out to a bunch of cheap devs, pay you a commission for your identity and bank the 75% net.

In the meantime, you've committed fraud and are likely to get nailed with tax evasion.
