This all doesn’t make apple products intrinsically bad. Separate the art from the artist -
@Floydimus I get it, but it’s not the same. Reddit is heavily censored because of their “ethics”, and thus is bad for me, meanwhile apple m1 chip doesn’t give a damn about apple ethics, it’s just a piece of silicon.
That being said, your choice not to bring your money to them does matter and makes a statement. What i was saying is the fucking integral scheme isn’t affected by apple ethics. -
@Floydimus product quality is defined by specs. Being manufactured by a bad company is not a spec. Meanwhile company is defined by the quality of its products and also its ethics, therefore if ethics is bad, company is bad.

@TrevorTheRat nobody tells me how long it will take.
They tried to pull it on me, I asked them what happens if I get done early. They said I can pull a new story and then asked me if I could get though a couple more. I told em nah, I think it will take me exactly the time you said.
They got the picture. Now I tell them how long it will take. I'm not going to sandbag, but I won't let someone tell me how long it takes to solve a problem they have no understanding about. -

It won’t be done in that amount of time. I’ve been around to long to have managers decide what deadlines they’ll hold me to, they ain’t gonna light a fire under my ass. It’ll be done when it’s done, all they’ve made sure of is that I won’t be in a rush -

Dear apple, I defended you from baseless and opinionated attacks just like I defend every company that is bashed for no reason, but this is some straight up bouba shit. I will still be fair when it comes to your products, still never silencing bugs and downsides and praising what deserves to be praised, but I will always mention this incident when someone asks me about _working_ at apple. That kind of ethics bs can't be silenced just because I enjoy your new arm chip.
