I am hearing reports from less computer savvy people that some Apple devices will refuse to charge the battery if updates are not applied. Supposedly as a way to strong arm users to update. I cannot find anything on this when searching.

Has anyone heard of this?

I can only confirm that vaccination qr code is being scanned and negative test is required before update to make sure people are not infected with any virus and can’t spread it to software during update.

Stay safe and follow procedures otherwise coronavirus would spread trough icloud

@vane can confirm. I got the first shot and my 5G kicked in. Once I connected to the net I was infected with ghonaovid-99.

My dick turned into fungus and now it won't stop spreading.

    Nah, that's bullshit.

Apple devices aren't charged like your ordinary Android pleb's chinaphone. Since the new iPhone 2013, Apple devices charge by using them.
Also, iOS doesn't have updates anymore - it is feature complete and all bugs have been fixed.

for verifying any apple bullshit, check out Louis Rossmann (or Rosmann, or Rossman, i can never remember) on youtube, he knows all about Apple's bullshit and keeps on top of it.

I know they downgrade the system when a new phone is released...
When they were couth Apple said it was to increase battery life.

That will result in a huge lawsuit immediately. So probably is not true. It's too obvious.

@iiii The crowd saying this is kinda dumb. So it is probably some warped perception of events.

Louis Rossmann's channel (definitely worth watching for the relaxing component-level board repair videos and his NY rants):
