@sariel prime is great for frequent shoppers, gaming and stream service is just great bonuses. But I am sure you will make up some bullshit to derend your “i am a freethinker” point.

@aviophile honestly, I never got it because I was always really cheap.

I buy enough from there, but not enough all 12 months out of the year for it to be worthwhile.

Yeah, i got the free prime trial again and "claimed" all the games. Will maybe play one of that puzzle games and Mass Effect Andromeda (now that it had time to mature). The remainder is just shovel ware for the pile of shame to be filtered on demand. But of course i never payed for prime and never will...

Disclaimer: I don't like Amazon either - but somehow the competition seems to have banded together to make Amazon look good. Not sure how they constantly manage to be even worse.

@jonas-w Most games work fine with Wine/Proton now. Easy-Anticheat and DRM might have to get "patched out" (gamecopyworld.com) though (yep, no multiplayer then).

@Oktokolo but this weird Amazon gaming App i need is only available on Windows at least that is what i've seen on that page

@jonas-w Yeah, it's a shame that their yet-another-game-launcher app actually doesn't run under Wine no matter what.
