I know german schools are bullshit. Try to focus on the stuff you enjoy, those are the classes you will learn and remember most.

@Divisionbyzero k. Thank 4 the advice! Also, do you think its ok to make homework in classes? Im not sure wether or not i should do so.
  • 2
@linuxer4fun well, in opposite of me, you care about doing your homework. 😅 Just try to not offense the teacher by doing that those guys are devils sometimes.

@Divisionbyzero hah! I will sit in the backrows. I feel like i will take some chess books wimme and read them in the lessons i dont like. (lessons i dont like are lessons where the teachers teach way too slow :/ 5h for learning binomial formulas + homework is very slow)

When he's that slow, then some of your classmates seem to need it. Cool, that he actually can slow down for them. 😉

Try to be an active part of it, it makes time pass faster.

I did my homework in other teachers lessons a lot during my school time. But i also had the reputation of paying attention while doing other things.

Good luck mate. Ninth grade was worst for me. It will get interesting once you hit 11th grade (or 12th grade with G9)

Judging from this post, it seems that not the teachers are too slow, but you might be too fast.
Remember: most of the other people need the lessons to be that slow nowadays.

Have you ever thought that you might be better suited not at a normal school but a school were they support people better who can learn and understand faster?
For me it sounds like you far ahead to the content of the lessons, so it would be better for you to move on and learn new stuff.

@linuxer4fun buddy, you have to sit in the front rows. When the teacher stands up front his line of sight automatically targets the back of the class. He has to look down to see what you are doing and that's not happening that often

@Kimmax but then they can see if you are doing homework, because no one is covering you from the front

Enjoy being a kid while you still can... ... And spend the time looking for a good college and 100 reasons why you should do major X. So when your parents tell you you should do the hot shiny Major Y... you can tell them BS...

Yea... wish I should've done that....

Also get real world experiences before they're forced on u by reality. Leaving things upto your parents is sort of a gamble... They mean well but sometimes they aren't very smart... and something you need to decide yourself

@CWins Cool, I also am able to multitask ;) Comes from programming, I think

@DelError Well. My school already is much harder than other schools in the same region. I dont want to go to an oversmart school because im not oversmart :/ I told my parents I wanted to go to a region with a faster school, but they seem reluctant

@billgates I already am searching much experience. I do some internships @sap, I code alot in big projects on github (sometimes as leader) and I am learning many hours of chess to be even better @ coding.

@Kimmax Problem is that I am planning on doing my homework while class so... Siting in front row is not so smart. I found a good side-panel where its impossibe for the teacher to see me if he doesnt try to see me

You see, ninth grade doesn't count towards your ABI so you just have to pass. Which is easy because you can use one subject to compensate for the other so if you have a 5 in one subject you can compensate for it with a 1 in a secondary subject or a 2 in a primary subject meaning with a 1 in Informatik (I know it's boring) you can easily compensate.

Also in ninth grade, maths gets way better because you have to solve square functions and have to do Trigonometry booth being mini logic puzzle and fun.

A friend and I used to make a game out of tricking the math teacher into failing their own "puzzle" which was fun.

@all thanks 4 the great Motivation! Normally i always feel like the creep because im the only one doing homework in classes, or not paying too much attention. But i dont care about not being liked by everyone. I dont care about grades (aslong as i pass) i will sit in my stool and read chess books. 😂 and fuck the stupid thing that only looks god on paper and is concieved to make germany look good: SCHOOL (include epic beethoven symphonia 9 music)

@blancobloc by the way, WELCOME TO DEV FRIGGIN RANT

It is not about the stuff they teach, it is about learning to learn new stuff. Even when the stuff is boring and uninteresting, if you get better at learning it, you will have it easier to learn new programming languages and concepts. So just aim at getting better at learning...
