@AlgoRythm you might be right, but they're not the egg sacks I'm used to seeing in spiders around here. Don't care to poke it and find out, either
-
@anonScriptah that spider is about the size of a grown man's fist. I'm using a lens with a nice zoom, though, so I'm not that close. Fun fact, I have had one of these on my fist. I was biking, even worse, in the dark. I got the whole web on me and the poor thing landed on my fist. Totally harmless, he just ran off as fast as he could.
-
On first pic it's probably flies or other kind of flying insects on the web...
Or maby frodo is there, with sam... -
@AlgoRythm you got the whole web on your fist? Wow. So now you dont need Internet right?
Ok i go away -
@DucksCanCode it's outside. It's fine. I only mind when they're in my room/bathroom or my kitchen.
-
@QueenMorgana oh I get you. Just don't blowtorch them when they're in your house, could get... Warm
-
@QueenMorgana no, I agree. A coating of hair spray on the area would guarantee extermination while ensuring your house doesn't get blown up
-
@DucksCanCode exactly. And the long multi-puropse lighter so i don't have to get too close
-
@QueenMorgana just use the hairspray and lighter to extend reach, should be fine, right?
-
@QueenMorgana yeah but it does tend to make the paint on the wall resemble a bubbling pizza
-
fonfi8057y@anonScriptah I was on the other side of the window ;) But most of the time they just hang still on the web, so you can safely take a photo :)

I don't have a picture, but we have these beautiful spiders here that are called "Mississippi Garden Spiders" (apparently). They really are gourgous. Though, not so much when one builds a web in your front door!
They are poisonous (about the same as a bee), but are not aggressive, but will bite if they feel threatened.
I've seen videos of people letting them crawl all over their arms and hands.
They are huge!
