@retoor friend of mine has switched to vaping aswell, back then. Still gets their nicotine in, and it did smell nicer than cigarettes.

@electrineer soon selling at supermarket gets forbidden.. That means the whole village is sigarette free. I stopped drinking and became rich. If I quit smoking I can swim in money like scrooge mcduck. Sigarettes here are 20,- per 50. Recently became 2 Euro extra. Bullies

@thebiochemic yes - and it keeps the house clean, cheaper, tastier. But it's more addicting than smoking. Sigarettes makes you sick after three, you had enough. But vaping, you can do that full time. And my body says it's healthier that smoking

@retoor just adjust the amount of nicotine in your liquids then. But regardless what you do, it requires atleast some amount of discipline, because you either need to get liquids with a very specific amount of it, or consistently mix them yourself.
the friend i mentioned also just used a lower amount, because of this exact reason. At some point they also started gradually lowering the amount, until they stopped putting nicotine into the liquid all together, but thats another story.

Nowadays they neither smoke nor vape.

@SidTheITGuy I don't like weed. I pass out after a few time inhaling. Only once I had that I had to laugh so much. It was in the middle of IT class while my teacher explained that she worked with handicapped kids in the past. I kept laughing harder and harder and she kept on talking. Sick situation

@We3D i think the smoking stuff is not as bad as they tell us. They're crazy with all those cancer pictures on the boxes and stuff. Total hysteric. In real life I don't know such people I've heard somewhere that everything could be OK if you quit above your 30's

@Tonnoman I never found it discusting. I like the smell in exception of an ashtray. My stepkid also LOVES the smoke. He'll be a smoker for sure. I can't imagine how expensive smoking will be when he's old enough

@retoor you don't notice it yourself due to habituation or w/e its called. And frankly if your kid can't afford to smoke that's probably better for him lol. Second hand smoking is real

@Tonnoman when he's 18 you can't get sigarettes anyware. Maybe in specialized tabacco shops. I'm surprised how much youth is still smoking because sigarettes are not even in sight anymore in stores

@spongessuck no, but I did try to grow my own mushrooms a few times. Failed. The fresh mushrooms became forbidden in NL after a tourist jumped out of a window. Only dried ones are available in stores. If you want fresh - you have to grow yourself which is legal

The best part about vaping I can see is that you can control which chemicals you put in your body if you know what you vape instead of just buying whatever is available on the nearest store shelf. At least in theory. I don't know if any reliable nicotine mixtures are available since I'm not into that stuff myself.

@electrineer disposables are stupid. Not the best qualify and expensive. Vaping actually requires some knowledge. A lot is:
- to expensive
- not working properly
- unhealthy liquids
- a lot of people have bad experiences due this factors
I can do months with one coil before I have to replace it. A lot of people only two weeks so they're sucking on burned stuff. That can't be healthy indeed. RTFM

Ah, even vaping a mixture of just water and glycerin will oxidise to formaldehyde if the coil is hot.
