I'd say most Linux desktop environments have made more progress than both Windows and OS X in the last decade.

You can use most Linux distro's without touching CLI if you don't want to. In many cases, it's just easier or faster to do so. I use CMD almost daily when using my Windows machine.

I'd agree with this. Mac and Windows have had graphical additions, but they've mostly stayed stagnant. Linux has KDE, Gnome shell, Mate, Cinnamon... Just to name 4 of many

No... today linux have a nice appearence. KDE is awesome. And most important thing WORKS.

Win10 has been released on 2015 with thousands of updates. And the search still doesn't works.

@Pizza Well that's the beauty of linux, theres so many DE's to choose from that theres even something for minimalists like you there. You could even whip up your own DE with a couple of packages and a window manager if you wanted to.
