    God damnit, why not just use Linux for this shit?

    @theuser because Linux is expensive don't you know.

    Linux experts are expensive...
    If the guy who set the pc wasn't noob he would have block updates...
    So they probably whent with an intern

    @RodrigoF or at least schedule them for non working hours, it takes 5 minutes and not a super knowledge... But let’s just blame windows

    @dontbeevil 5 minutes.. ahemm!!!!

    @RodrigoF If he was Microsoft certified he would've installed LTSB on a VLK, then changed his blue button up shirt because it was drenched in sweat. Microsoft engineers are always wearing sweat drenched baby blue dress shirts with an ugly brown belt and tight khaki pants.

    @bittersweet awfully specific. ;)

    @github settings->updates - > working hours... You're right it's 1 minute job

    @LinuxUser0001 I worked at Microsoft for a little while. I had a coworker who had a picture of Ballmer in his wallet. Everyone was overdressed, overweight, very white and very sweaty.

    @dontbeevil For this purpose LTSB (long term service branch) would be better. It doesn't update at all unless you do it manually, and doesn't include any bundled software or features like wmp, cortana, edge, etc.

    @bittersweet maybe windows IOT would have been even better (depends on the exact purpose)

    @dontbeevil Or anything not-windows 😉

    @bittersweet still depends on the purpose/technologies/hw ecc...
