Received my new mechanical keyboard from Amazon today. It feels so much better than our standard company Dell keyboard. And it looks so great. Also it has nice LEDs with several modes. Love it

Got mine recently. Loud as fuck. Would go back to butterfly switches to be honest. I just like the build quality, but not as a keyboard. (MX Brown switches)

    That setup

Why does everyone like mechanical keyboards so much?

@heeMan For me it's the feel and the resistance needed to push the keys in.

It had LEDs and you posted a picture in daylight? :-/ I'm disappointed.

Quite interested in knowing the model, it looks way more compact than mine and I'm looking for a replacement. =o

@irene yeah, compared to low profile keyboard with butterfly switches and a membrane, which you can hardly hear, this keyboard I have (Logitech G610) can wake up the dead.

@heeMan I bought mine because I had tried a demo of a keyboard with MX Blue switches. Those things are magical. But if MX Brown switches are this loud, I can assure you that everybody in the same room will dream of killing you slowly if you get the MD Blue.

@Totchinuko It's the Victsing Tomahawk I-500 , and yeah it is really slim. Has only 87 keys. The switches aren't original cherry blue switches but feel the same and are compatible with the originals. So if it's too loud for you you also can use the mx damper rings

@byte-me sorry , they delivered it in the morning and I was so happy that I made a picture directly by daylight. I will post one in the dark next week.

@irene yeah, and I like the non-mech, membrane, butterfly ones more so far.
