Irony at its finest eh -
Not more than 20 hours, I guess. I never had to encounter a situation that's worth sacrificing my sleep.

I once stayed awake from Thursday 9.00 to early Monday morning. Not work related but busy social life. I dropped dead at around 03.00 am on Monday and awoke somewhen on Wednesday midday.
I don't recommend trying this yourself. It was a borderline experience I am not keen on repeating.
Sometimes it happens that I still do a one nighter, though I try to aim for as an absolute minimum 3 hours sleep. For me to not be cranky, it should be 7 to 9 hours of sleep though. -
gacbl6217yFor me, the longest was 4 days, but at one point almost 6 years back, 2 days straight was a normal for me.

Without sleeping? 2 days. But with sleep deprived hours? 1 week with what seemed me getting only about 10 hours of sleep between work. The military can get brütal....

D--M22667yI worked for 50 hours straight, no coffee, no sleep.
It was to meet impossible deadlines, never again. (I totally met them) -

Baguette4257y4 days, 3 days, 2 days ???? WTF, who are you ??
I can barely stay awake for 18hs stright. -
20 hours. In the military during long shifts and exercises.
Felt like I was going to die -
I stayed up for 3 days straight at a convention once. It was thanks to the then legal energy pill “yellow jackets”, which were apparently quite literally “speed”. That shit was scary.

Rohr7307yFor a couple of years I took place in a camp once a year from Friday to Monday. Usually made it without sleeping. So 4 days.
But I can tell, no I can promise ... This is neither funny, cool or healthy. After that you feel like a fully soaked bag of rice. And probably you body works like one ...
I love sleep and is one of the most important and easiest things you can do for yourself, your body and your health. -
rfc716828007y~ 2.5 days and actually as an experiment how long I could do without sleep while being productive.
Started hallucinating that my shower walls were talking to me. Would neither recommend nor do again but very unique and interesting experience. -
Wack61917y~4.5 days while working on a side project. Followed by about 24h sleep, eating something and then again 10-12h sleep. Ah, yes, the good old times at my early 20ties... :P
Disclaimer: I don't drink coffee, so no coffeein for me usually, that period I drank a 6-pack of red bull, so yeah. They helped...
