To those wondering what's it like to work in corporates and "HOW slow is it, really...?".

My corp project contract ended 1.5 months ago.
Today I got an email saying my access request has been finally approved and implemented.

A friend of mine spoke to me on LinkedIn saying he's waiting for an approval to start working on a new project after finishing a previous one, and all he does is chill out in the office, eat lunch, wait till 6 pm, eat dinner and go home.

It's been this way since 4 months.

Reminds me of that time when some guy at some corp was collecting paychecks for years without showing up, and they only noticed it when it was time for his anniversary at the company, and he didn't attend the event

It’s fucking stand-still as an employee..

I mean. I was a consultant for +15 years. Now, not so much.

It really makes you question your choices sometimes.

But nice benefits. 🤷🏼‍♂️
