Used sails js for production
Worst decision in my life made me loose 1500$
Fuxking shuld have used laravel....9
Thought I was a full stack developer for my company with only android and sails js until I was also told to design the website.
Have a project that will need to scale very quickly in size after its release as we already have 300 on board and each on boarding is a large scale feat.
I’m going with react for front end architecture, probably with redux sense I’ve heard it’s great for large scale applications. I would love to use angular but there’s a tight timeline and I’m not proficient with it yet. Try an talk me out of it though. 🤷🏼♂️ I’m posting cause I’m open minded.
For backend I’m broken between phps laravel and nodes sails.js.
I feel like laravel is very mature and ready for the job but the idea of a full js stack sounds appealing as the frameworks easy to pick up and spin people up on. Laravel would demand a php dev which there are less of in my town.
On that note though, I would love to be responsible for creating more php jobs in the city. Scalabilities most important though. Cam sails hold up as a robust api? Laravels proven to time and time again
I’m open to opinions, frameworks, architectural ideas8
