Thoughts on Lambda school or FreeCodeCamp? I have a full tome job, pretty hard to go to an actual university and here in Northern Utah, there isn’t a lot of dev jobs here.8

Starting my bachelors in Computer Science this fall! Going to try to continue to work full time as long as possible (I’m a team lead at a call center, got a lot of downtime, not too stressful) to pay for school. Any tips for CS in college?2

so i started some new classes in school last week. the first day i walked into my new gaming development classes and my teacher says “im going to be honest with you guys i don’t know any of this and ive never taught this or programming so im just going to learn with you. the principal asked me if i wanted to teach this class and i said yes because it’d be a good learning experience and extra money. i usually only teach woodshop.” this is gonna be a great class. it makes me so mad that the teacher doesn’t even know what he’s teaching. im here to learn. why offer to teach a class you know nothing about? i could be at home watching YouTube videos and learning more2

When the school district decides to change the passwords to every school related account of every student in your grade. Right before you take an online quiz. (They do this every year for the sophomores to make them change their passwords but they usually do it the first day, not two weeks in) Couldn't even log into the school computers, the site to check our grades, anything. Nice job guys, purposely reset passwords in the middle of the day.

Computer programming teacher wanted us to write some pseudocode to solve an algorithm just so we can practice writing some code and solving problems. The teacher needs a copy so I spent about 2 hours today rewriting all of that pseudocode because she wants it handwritten...10

I remember last year in school one of my teachers had us make a little web page with HTML and CSS. She was confused when I was using an external CSS stylesheet. She thought all the CSS had to be in a style tag inside of the index.html file...6

Taking a class in school where we are learning C++. The kid sitting next to me never listens. Had a couple of errors, added a few cout lines in which he put "count" instead of cout and ended up with 108 errors. That class is going to be so difficult for him..1
