Hey guys, ran into some thermal throttling issues with my i7-7700k (100c basically all the time, 800-2000mhz speeds) so I'm looking for a new cpu, anyone down to help?

I'm looking to run 1440p 144hz eventually so I don't mind laying down an average sum of cash for one, just need some suggestions.

Is it worth the switch to AMD? Every forum I look at online has someone buying AMD nowadays

I've tried fixing this i7-7700k by remounting the cooler, reapplying thermal paste, changing BIOS settings, making sure the pump is working, but nothing seems to help.

1. Check every social media ultra often and the first thing in the morning. I was late or sometimes completely missed something because I did not check my social media. Today I missed school because study leve was kinda cancelled. But guess what did not check my social media for the announcement and checked it in rhe afternoon when school was long over. No nwed to check email because nearly nothing important comes there except my report card which is resent on whatsapp 4 times a year

We are suppose finish current project by the end of this month.
We are right on the schedule, BUT code wasn't properly tested... We are still awaiting testing environment... I predicts a lot overtime at the last week before handing it over :(
