    why? i mean i am a proponent of 2 factor auth but for devrant? might be a overkill

    Tad overkill I think... If your phone is secured your devrant should be as well (assuming you stay logged in).

    A pin may be nice for some ppl though.
    If you leave your phone unattended around recruiters :D
