Can someone explain me why the size of the Facebook app is more than 350 MB on iOS?
And I'm not counting cache e local data (which are more than 50 MB), but only the app.

Any technical explanations?

If you absolutely want to infect your phone with a backdoor, just cross compile Meterpreter for iOS and get it over with. That's even open source And it's only a few kilobytes.

Because being able to track every feature your phone has in the name of “socialising” takes its toll in bits

Probably some fancy agile development, ship this product no matter how fucked up code base it is.

Fancy management, next day goals, big rotation and pressure in development team also helps.

Saved it some time ago for future generations, how fucked up their ios app few years ago.

    Probably now it's even worse.

I remember reading something about Facebook having their own cross platform thing like xamarin. Forgot what it was called but I'll blame that first.

Can we just stop with this cross platform shit? It is reducing quality, worsening performance, and wasting storage.

The UWP app takes as much space as the iOS, plus it forces you to install it in the phone's memory! 😂

@Qaldim in fact the UWP version is just a porting of the iOS version.

@JS96 I am quite aware of that. The UWP app from MS was much more superior and it was taking advantage the features of W10M.
