    @AlexDeLarge i have no problems in taking out Wordpress, but PHP isn’t “that” bad, just the dickheads that think they can use it.

    @Alice I still need a little bit of ruby knowledge for chef but that’s about it.
    I never did jump on the ror train though.

    Static files include all HTML only and JavaScript sites. I.e. react, Vue etc all are in there.

    So, PHP is used for a metric ton of websites. It's mostly popular for medium traffic sites.

    Would be interesting to see this data over the years to see what techs has an incline and decline.

    @AlexDeLarge While I appreciate your wish to once and for all eradicate WP, I think PHP still deserves a chance.
    I'd suggest that we wipe out half of all PHP devs, just like Thanos would like it, so we can increase the chance of having better PHP code.
    Also: Wipe out all documentation, source code and binaries of all PHP versions previous to v7.0.
