Make sure to check out the laws. Even bringing back some seemingly innocent stones may put you into trouble.

Condor324966yI haven't read this one myself yet, but The Pragmatic Programmer is one that I've been meaning to lay my hands on for quite a while.. maybe I'll ask my local library to get a copy of it. Also if you're into engineering, check out "8 Amazing Engineering Stories" from Bill Hammack, the Engineerguy.. his explanations about engineering concepts are very enlightening.

@Fast-Nop Hmm... I spend all of my holidays there. Since approx. 18 years. Never had such a problem. But they have a problem with drinks and cheese in transporting them in an airplane. Guess that that's a rather global problem tho.

@Condor wrote them down.
The Pragmatic Programmer was on my imaginary list too, but I Forgot about it. Thanks for the refresher :) -
@-ANGRY-CLIENT- Just thought of that one http://foxnews.com/travel/2013/...
But back to books - I can warmly recommend "Oswald Spengler - The Decline of the West". It's not easy to read, which isn't the translators' fault since it's the same in the original German version ("Der Untergang des Abendlandes"). But it's mind-blowing despite the misleading title. -
@Fast-Nop I am actually from Germany. I will stick to the original version of this book then :D

For books: Concrete Mathematics or Proofs from the Book.
But also The Worpitzky Numbers Revisited, available on SciHub. -
Wack63116yIn German: Blackout. It is roughly based on a paper, that deals with how to take the energy grid in Europe offline (there's a talk at a CCC congress about the paper). However the book simplifies some stuff and of course there has to be some kind of hero and love story... Still an awesome book
If you like sci-fi, the expanse (it's a series, so there are multiple books) -
Oh and I forgot to mention another category :)
Self-Improvement books are welcome, as well. -
@Santaclauze Antalya-Fethiye, Antalya-Incekum, Demre (the place where the well-known Nikolaus died), Oniki adalar (some Greek Islands since from Fethiye to Rhodos there is a distance of about 80kms, if I am not wrong), Kapadokya, maybe Olympos, a tour to Karadeniz, and a tour to Şile-Ağva.
Edit: And maybe to Cyprus :) -
@-ANGRY-CLIENT- I recommend Olive garden in Faralya ( Fethiye). Its a must see place!

Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds
Or Clojure for the brave and true.
Or Clean Code
Or Data Science from Scratch with Python -
inaba46256y* The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy 1 - 5
* Dirk gentleys holistic detective agency
* Red Dwarf 1 - 4 -
Condor324966y@DucksCanCode I currently don't have an e-reader and reading on a tablet can strain the eyes (even with simple stuff like datasheets).. so for the time being I'd prefer purchasing a tangible paper book. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Anything Brandon Sanderson has written. Mainly writing epic fantasy, but his scifi shorts are also amazing. The Perfect State and Firstborn are a must, though short.
The Stormlight Archive series or The Mistborn series are some of his best fantasy, though long (as in stack of bricks). A stand-alone novel, Elantris, is also a top pick, and often a gateway drug to get hooked on his books.
PS! This is the guy that finished The Wheel of Tme after Robert Jordan died.
