I think this offer may be decent in poorer countries. I'm in India, and this would make sense to some developers working for small companies paying much less. So, for a country like Bangladesh, or any country poorer, it would make sense.

Sure the wage sucks in most places, but perhaps there are people who would be happy to work. I actually like that he mentions the wage in the ad, so people that don't like it, don't have to waste their time. Instead of going through 2 interviews and finding out that the wage sucks.

@sSam yes, mentioning the wage means I'm not interested and not gonna waste my time applying. But I would utilize that same time that would have been "wasted" to tell this guy off.

And this salary is more then enough for a single person here

Most of the people here compare the salary with US or european salaries.
I can't see any location described for this job in the email, so it's possible, that they reside in a country, where $750 is enough for a good living.

So, instead of ranting, additional info would be great to see if it's justified.
