Broke up with my girlfriend due to ongoing stress to commit to the relationship, to perform at my current job, graduating early next March, looking for a full time job/studying for interviews, and going to school.

We never really planned long term and we were just in the relationship to have fun, but man do breakups suck.

I want to be able to focus on myself so I can set myself up for greatness in the future. Unfortunately that means sacrifices have to be made so I don’t lose my mind. Oof

Got my first real tech job today working as an on-campus computer resource assistant for my university's graduate school in education! Finally making a step in my career path and doing something I will enjoy for a change.

Ever since I stumbled upon devRant, I have learned so much about the developer community that I had no idea about before. I'm just a lowly undergrad with no real world experience, but this community has provided so much insight of what the real world is like. Thank you, devRant community, for this insight.

Getting to mess and tinker with the latest tech before it even hits the market, easy to find a job that pays well, and of course getting to pretty much dress as casual as you want ( or not at all if you work from home !)
