We finally settled on Adrian Ridley 😊

Only took the better part of a week.

I wrote almost a dozen utilities to fetch names from various languages and times, clean them, display them in nicely formatted columns, select names based on criteria, permute them, and keep track of favorites.

I swear I've seen almost every name in the world from Arabic to Irish to Maori to Celtic to Yiddish.

@Root I would want such a list for my future generation :)

@nkhan There are a lot of name lists and generators out there. Write something to scrape them!

I was rushed, so what I wrote is absolutely not something I'd want to show off. One of the sites I used didn't offer an api, so I had to scrape the page with regexes. 😅

I swear I cost them at least $10 in increased server load. I must have hit that site, without exaggeration, 25k times. (One run alone was 4k page loads)

I might contact them and offer like 0.05 ETH for hitting their service so much.
