Of course! I'll listen to what I like most of the time, but when I'm in hardcore concentration mode it has to just be low-key electronica with no lyrics. Preferably some abstract stuff.

Most of the time yes, sometimes no. Lyrics or not doesn't matter to me. Sometimes the ones with lyrics actually get me to a deeper level of concentration.

When it gets "heavy duty" I move to my soundtrack/scores playlist or (legendary) Jean-Michel Jarre :D

Heavy/power/symphonic metal or weird synth crap like worakls. Sometimes linkin park, three days grace, etc., or Evanescence, Taylor Swift, Dido, etc.
