"Excessive use of resources" - what do you have there? Large blobs?

@Alice oh. My bad. Maybe one of my ad blockers or Ghostery was the culprit

    "MS"
Yeah, you used a lot of resouces on GitHub's servers. But blame evil, evil Microsoft!

@filthyranter well they do own github now at least they made private repos free for a few contributors :)

    This may explain it

@Haxk20 did you not see how much data they were using?

@Haxk20 whut? If you are a company and you have a ToS that you expect people to follow, you have a right to disable stuff when they stop following that ToS. Sure let's blame it on Microsoft instead because they're evil, right? Nope. GitHub like any other company provides services on the basis of an agreement because they have to, it would go out of control if they placed no limits.

The fact that they're "doing good work" is kinda immaterial here. This isn't charity, it's business. If you had say 15 credits on AWS and you used them up then would you expect Amazon to just hand you more credits because you think you're doing good work?

@Haxk20, @RememberMe made a good point right there.
Why wouldn't openGapps create their own git server with for example gitea?
