Interview today! (Maybe?)
Sometime between 2pm and 10pm!
No idea if it's Skype or phone or what. Or with who. Or really when.

Sounds like I should turn them down. 😕

    They let me know via text they were booked for the day. Their day ends at 5pm.

    Eyeroll.
    Facepalm.
    Exasperated sigh.

    First impressions aren't just for the company to evaluate you... Usually they indicated a pattern.

    @vmkantu luckily I haven't heard that song enough times for that to happen. I've listened more to a cover version that I wouldn't even mind.

    Move on, they doesnt sound like a company to invest in. Either theyre not interrested or they consider their time more valuable than yours.

    @arcadesdude @HogDev Yep.

    My predictions about companies are usually right, and this one is an understaffed, disorganized mess where management and HR has more say in development than they should.

    If I wasn't so desperate for income, I'd turn them away.

    @Root Alright, yeah I get you. A work is a work after all. And some times you just have to take one and bide your time.
    Hope it works out for you!

    @Root Employers are like desperate middle aged singles. A ring around your finger makes you more attractive as an employee, because someone worse than them has already tested & prepped you, so they can save time. Bad jobs lead to better jobs :)

    I've actually gotten the opposite.... A full blown calendar invite with Skype addresses of who I'd be talking to, etc

    Completely unsolicited - never even talked these guys - no "if you're available" or "are you qualified" but their email calendar invite was legit.

    Called in just for fun and it was like an auction, with multiple devs pitching ever lower rates for jobs
