I regularly use 200 to 300 GB for Youtube each month

I had dial up until like 2006... staying under 1 gig a month is easy. That's what living in the middle of nowhere can teach you, digital survival skills

@12bitfloat @Haxk20 what the hell? I know Europeans get fast data but damn...

    I use 2 at most.

I'm always at: my apartment, school or work. All 3 have wifi, so I really only use data whenever I'm driving around or the rare times I'm somewhere other than those 3.

    Yeah...

@NonImportant- yeah I second that.. I can barely use up 5gb in a month (also European and millennial trash with my phone glued to my hand) and it's not like I use sparingly.. I can't go anywhere outside my home without music on and I scroll a lot of social media and am terrible at remembering to connect to wifi at uni/work

I use only 500 MB a month. If you don't stream anything it's very doable. For me it's enough for DevRant, browsing and texting. That's basically all I do. And if I'm home or at work I can just connect to the WLAN.

I have used 296 Mb this month, the only reason my contract isn't smaller is because 2 gigs is the smallest one at my favorite provider.

Wow guys. In India, the mobile operators themselves offer 1.5 GB/day after the earlier limit of 1 fell to public demand.
Damn I do not like the sound of expensive data plans.

You might as well just call me god.

I did use 800GB at home though.

@PrivateGER What the F!? HOW?? WHY?? damn son

I am on a 100MB plan. Works fine for me. I have access to WiFi networks basically all day though and only use mobile connection while commuting.

Yeah I used 65GB, how the f do you do this

@ninjapants Because I live in some shitty village in Germany, I pretty much only have Edge. You can't do much with that.

@jaza-k !! you probably use alot of wifi then?

Idk what is so hard with that, I live with 100MB a month and I don't even hit the cap

It's only natural that you adapt to tge limits, that you're given. When I had a 1gb limit, I stayed within that limit.
But now I have 30gb and soon unlimited mobile data, so I don't care anymore, because I can't reach that. Not even after using my phone as hotspot for 2 weeks

    have german mobile network.
    can possibly spend it

I have 200mb, plus what WiFi I can find in the city with unchanged passwords. (Un)fortunately there are much more routers here than tech-literate people.

I only have 2gb and it's enough for me lol

Wife and I share a 1 GB and usually have plenty left over.

I might shock you all but I only use wi-fi. Partially because I travel a lot and it costs a ton and also because it seems wasteful staring at the screen when I'm out and about enjoying the real world. I don't wanna miss out! I know, I'm weird like that... 😅

    I have 1GB, i rarely hit 500MB

at home between 600gb and 1.7 tb

cache servers and offline media. I can live on 200mb a month for internet searches. Ad block and no video load browsers html5 extension. And my 14 tb of hard drives.😁

I treated myself to an unlimited plan. No cap whatsoever, for under $50/month. My provider just released a campaign where I can add up to 5 people for $10/month each, and each of them also gets the same unlimited plan. I haven't used WiFi in months now. Oh and it's fast to!
