The power of java

Lots of enterprise software is written in Java.

I'm not a fan of Java.

I like java, one if the best languages out there, if u take into account stuff like build systems, IDE support, library ecosystem

@kamen You see I'm one of the many who do not like Java. Yet it exists. So I'm just one dude in this minority group speaking up. You have a problem with that ?

Since when did you become the comment inspector ? Go spend your time doing something else because it's not worth it.

I like Java, I see the point in not liking it, but as someone who learned writing code in Java I'm really familiar with it. On the other hand I truly dislike eg. Javascript and nearly all its dialects, so everyone got his preferences I guess.

@caap so it is your fault that thing is still alive then. Unfortunately this means that we'll have to make some "arrangements".

It will probably end up like cobol. Not being used too much but some critical business stuff being written it making it still necessary. Not to mention the languages written in Java. :)
