What’s your excuse to have more cables than me back there?

    More devices to plug in

    The desire of proper input.
So, no BT or WiFi dongle.

@scor BT = AirDrop & MXMaster S2 (great mice for work) wifi= literally because I‘m too lazy to get Philips hue to work over lan.

So they could be plugged out for how rare I use them apart my mouse because that radio dongle they give you is craptastic!

i've a hub on an extension cord so i can plug USB shit in without having a front panel and one VGA/HDMI combo for monitors.
(does a physical sound loopback count as one or two? it's an aux cord looping speakers out to mic in, both back panel.)

@myss please clean your fan vent. It's giving me anxiety.

VR, several sound cards, multiple monitors, hdd reader, desk fan...
    Pick your poison.

How come you only have 4 cables plugged in and you still manage to make a mess out of them on your desk?

As for your question - a monitor usb [for mouse/kbd], sb x-fi [usb audio 5.1 card], usb hub, usb wifi

I have more than one monitor, like most Devs.

@AlmondSauce 80% of the time I dont need more than one screen at home, but I have two more just in case.

At work a super wide + Laptop screen is sufficient enough

2 extra USB connectors to power my Razer Chroma HDK.

@demortes with a little luck I'll have my PC out of the kitchen this weekend, not sure what the odds are for VR any time soon though, been in boxes since September :-p

It’s where I store my unused cables.

@ArcaneEye VR in the kitchen? We‘re doing this at work, on some fridays.

@010001111 nah, I moved last September and haven't got the office fixed up yet, so PC is in the kitchen and vr is in cardboard boxes.

@ArcaneEye I'm rebuilding my gaming rig with an updated mobo processor and memory. Streams should be more reliable if I can figure out the audio device switching without having to worry about looking at a screen
