Google Glass was AR rather then video recording, and didn't release to the public, only enterprise.

Apple was rumoured of doing a similar thing to Google, but Facebook has skipped the tech and shoved a video camera into them.

Of course you know phones and the internet already function as mass surveillance along with individuals engaging in expected reptetiyibe behavior the more of which occurring represents a majority control making small differences in behavior spottable

In essence all someone would have to do is provide a backend by sharing private keys and installing a filter in the isp and if enough people did exactly the same on a network segment the rest is actionable

There are places in the USA where multiple buildings surveillance systems are combined under the view of people with nothing to do but state and make note and whole crowds of people are on repeat and predetermined schedules of movement creating a seemingly benign background

Facebook is just trying to copy snapchat spectacles. They’re just bunch of script kiddies that try to be cool by copying other people and companies ideas.

@vane replied to this comment before seeing yours. I knew I saw the Snapchat ones somewhere. This is no different then someone doing their own, let's say, goggles. Skiing and sports etc. This is a natural evolution that we've seen for many years coming.
