Just received an email from Apple ID noreplyappleidaccountlocked.case4125@trustedsender.company that said my apple ID is locked. I must send my personal details to unlock them.

I wonder how many people got caught by it :(

When I see such e-mails I often ask myself what these scammers are thinking. OK ppl are in general stupid, but nevertheless often these e-mails are so poorly made the scammer seem more like comedians of the IT world.

@qbasic16 They do that on purpose.
They rely on gullible people so they have to make sure they are not wasting time with people with common sense.
If someone sees such an awful email and doesn't understand how stupid it is then there is a high chance they will bite and hand over the cash.

@nickpapoutsis actually it's also bc MS Mail makes it very hard to actually see the full email address.

I almost fell for one until I'm like WTF... I don't use Apple anymore and then dug through the email to finally see the sender address...
