I cant get used to shortcuts and file manager UI seems so alien to me

@AnxiousADHDGuy UI part of it, definitely. But if you have experience with any Unix system then it's an easy thing to get into.

@iSwimInTheC was not even able to setup aliases for git as easy as I used to do it in linux with adding them to .profile

Until they break and you have to pay a fortune to get them repaired or so i have heard.

There is therapy available, but the first step is admitting there’s a problem.

I impulsively bought an M1 machine and I too love Macs now. It's somewhere between Windows and Linux with app compatibility and using Unix, and desktop arm64 is just so magical. This thing still does things I never thought computers could do

I love them too! 15 years of developing on so many OS's, I like getting weird looks from Nixers and Windows gazers.

Use the tool that makes you efficient at your job. Everything else is water cooler chat.
