Anyone else write out 1000s of lines on paper before putting it on screen? Is that a waste of time or good practice?

I like typing because I can't read my own handwriting.

@Teknas This speaks to me. Last year in school, I'd type my notes out so I could actually understand what I'm reading.

Nope. Seems like a waste. That's what text EDITORS are meant for. To EDIT if it goes wrong 😁

A thousand is just too much for writing on paper.I would prefer to write snippets and smaller codes(200max) on paper.Writing code on paper is pretty cool because you understand the language better that way.But on the long run, you need to be able to write code on a machine.

I like to draw flowcharts before coding, reminds me of Grafcet, the first language I've ever programmed in 😃

I like writing pseudocode on whiteboards, but thousand lines of code is more than a few files.
