@rantOverflow I mean, if that cable is 50 meters or longer, and you want to transmit more than 40 Gbps, then Cat7 is the solution 😁

@rantOverflow I went for a cat6a for running on the attic at my house (25 meters) since I had no idea what shit might be up there (antennas and what not). And compared to the price of a cat5 or cat5e, I'd keep checking rather get a cat6a 😉
