Saw this open source software list, thought I'd share it here, most of them work for Linux.

Got a problem with an AUR package. Decided to ask the AUR maintainer. Registered on the AUR page. Can't login, receiving HTTP400 bad referrer header.
Decided to report that issue. To do so, I need to register on the Arch Linux Website. Did that. To finish registration, I need to verify my account. However, the verification button just does nothing.
Removed AUR package.3 -
1337 haxxor here! jk, but its fun to analyze the sourcecode of a streaming site to find the video source giving a 403 error on direct download unless i force the beforeload-adress as a referrer. quite the feeling like my first ftp-download album back in the days.

I have been pondering for the last couple of days on how to validate whether a referring http request is actually coming from the referrer it claims to come from. Any ideas on this?3 -
Matomo, the free web analytics tool formerly known as Piwik, does not display referring search keywords (anymore?) without purchasing an add-on, which makes it less valuable than the good old webalizer. I should grab my old backups from 2001 and find a Perl script that crawls Apache server logs. Why must digital progress always mean Verschlimmbesserung?
