I regularly use git cmd. I made a transition from clients a while back because I wanted to learn more about how it actually works and it works just fine for me, except when I have to google something I don't remember (like how to revert local commit)

Git clients will for sure do abstraction which can be both good and bad, but I'm wondering if there are any definitive pros for clients.

I completely lost access with connection reset by peer, however, earlier today I kept having my session auto disconnect on only one server, the only way I could gain access is to remove and then install openssh again

But on this particular server, I have not even changed ssh port, why did it get broken?

My manager is apperently turning down applicants for the position of front end developer (the job I applied for, they made me backend developer). I just sit here wondering what he bases that decision of since the man can hardly use a computer. Job posting has been online for almost 10 months now.

But yeah, I'd rather have no collegae then an incompetent one. I also suspect they just posted the opening to keep me from taking vacation days.

I didn’t go to college myself. I have ~10 years of experience but it seems to become more and more of a big deal.

Random as fuck, but anyone here that smokes pipe tobacco or enjoys cigars? what about dip tobacco? from my understanding, smokeless tobacco is far different in yurop than it is in the U.S

My friends in Mexico are pretty clueless about all of this except for cigar smoking, and regular cigarettes, dip tobacco was pretty much unknown to me until some time (mexicans are not very prone to smokeless tobacco it seems) and I currently enjoy a cigar here and there, just wanted to see what y'all thought about the hobby.

How many of us are using Manjaro as daily usage system. And why not other?

For me it is because it connects ease of use of Ubuntu (or even Win) with possibilities of Arch. And I always liked KDE. Plus it works out of the box, with Nvidia drivers ready and stuff.

Maybe noob question here, but what's the added value of using graph db like neo4js compared to regular RDBMS like PostgreSQL ? I just loaded a css file with a script tag. And spent 20 minutes wondering why the hell I was getting missing semicolon errors. :/
