So apparently devRant is a problem in my life. As those of you who've read any of my stuff here know I work at Victoria's Secret. So two of my friends come in just before I was ending my shift to see what the plans were for tonight. The usual - hit the club, crash at one of our houses.
Thing is, I was scrolling through devRant when they walked up. (the below is paraphrased)
Friend1: Ugh, you're still on that thing?
Friend2: Is she really? <looks over my shoulder>
Me: <eyeroll>
Friend2: I don't get it. <pokes me in the left tit> You barely post on Instagram and you don't tweet anymore. And you haven't commented on any of my posts in like days. Wtf bitch?
Disclaimer: Yes, we are those girls who talk like that and go clubbing and dress up and makeup and all that shit. Don't judge me because I don't give a fuck. Anyway...
Friend1: Seriously.
Me: Really? We're doing this? Because I haven't posted on fucking Instagram? I talk to you every day. I see you every other day. I like coding. I like tech. This place is awesome and the people are cool. If I want to see your ass or your outfit, I can just look at you. I don't need to be on Instagram 24/7.
Friend2: Jeez bitch. Need a tampon
<we all laugh>
Me: This is my thing. It doesn't mean we aren't friend and we won't chill, but my future is in development and technology. So deal hoes.
Friend1: Ugh you're such a nerd.
Friend2: <laughing>
Me: And you're both like totally vapid sluts. But I love you.
Friend2: Jelly
Friend1: Totes jelly. Girl you need some vitamin D
Me: I'm sayin'. But that doesn't mean I won't spend my free time coding.
Friend2: Ugh alright we don't give a fuck. Code or whatever. Just be ready at 11.
We all flip each other the bird and they leave. I guess if that's the level of acceptance I can get from my wonderful, gorgeous, annoying, amazing, asshole best friends, I'll take it. I am not changing my path.69 -
I know pretty much everyone here understands the importance of net neutrality, but here’s a nice chart you can share with all your non tech friends explaining the importance of it in terms they understand

This is a follow up on my previous rant https://devrant.io/rants/815062
I confronted her again.
I was told that I am useless and worth noting to this world, worth more dead than alive.
I was told that I will never get anywhere in life, and that the time I have spent watching Elon Musk interviews (amongst other ones, I do this for fun) is fucking useless, as I will never get anywhere ini life. Only low-life pieces of shit such as myself deserve nothing apparently.
I had to organise a place to stay with my family, but I couldn't for a week. I slept on the floor outside my workplace, and bathed at friends.
I have moved out, had to go get my own place. I have nothing, but I have my motivation back. I have my coding behind me, I have my motivation, I have my mind clear, and I have plans for the future.
I plan to fucking make a name for myself, and fuck everyone who has a fucking issue with it.
Will distribute the app sometime.
Fuck people who fuck you around.27 -
I like memory hungry desktop applications.
I do not like sluggish desktop applications.
Allow me to explain (although, this may already be obvious to quite a few of you)
Memory usage is stigmatized quite a lot today, and for good reason. Not only is it an indication of poor optimization, but not too many years ago, memory was a much more scarce resource.
And something that started as a joke in that era is true in this era: free memory is wasted memory. You may argue, correctly, that free memory is not wasted; it is reserved for future potential tasks. However, if you have 16GB of free memory and don't have any plans to begin rendering a 3D animation anytime soon, that memory is wasted.
Linux understands this. Linux actually has three States for memory to be in: used, free, and available. Used and free memory are the usual. However, Linux automatically caches files that you use and places them in ram as "available" memory. Available memory can be used at any time by programs, simply dumping out whatever was previously occupying the memory.
And as you well know, ram is much faster than even an SSD. Programs which are memory heavy COULD (< important) be holding things in memory rather than having them sit on the HDD, waiting to be slowly retrieved. I much rather a web browser take up 4 GB of RAM than sit around waiting for it to read the caches image off my had drive.
Now, allow me to reiterate: unoptimized programs still piss me off. There's no need for that electron-based webcam image capture app to take three gigs of memory upon launch. But I love it when programs use the hardware I spent money on to run smoother.
Don't hate a program simply because it's at the top of task manager.6 -
Manager: The way you built this doesn’t accommodate any of my future plans!
Dev: What future plans?
Manager: I have a bunch of different ideas, I haven’t decided which ones to go with yet or how it will all work but you’re making it so we’re running out of room in the UI. It’s too busy, you need to clean it up so we can add more stuff!

This is going to be a rant, but personally, I'm pleased with the outcome of my life now.
I was part of a community for a few years and decided to help them out with my knowledge of programming Lua nearly 2 years ago since they lacked developers for the project itself.
Since it was sort of a custom language that they modified how Lua worked on it, it took me a bit to adapt, but within a few weeks, I was pretty fluent in this so-called custom language they had. Began working on some major updates, additions, removals, and just optimizing this code base. It was a pretty old code base and needed a good chunk of love.
A few months later, I've implemented loads of features, optimized the base whenever I could, and then things start taking a turn for the worse. We get new 'developers' who haven't ever coded the language, and worse they couldn't afford to provide them development servers thus they ended up breaking my servers. I helped them and they learned, they were decent, but now the Seniors and CEO's of the project began to take a toll on me.
I was told that this community had a reputation of driving out developers, ruining their reputations, and that is what started happening. I started getting questioned if I was loyal to helping them, that I've become lazy, even though they were explained I've had mental health issues for a few years and have been hospitalized multiple times.
These sort of attacks kept happening for months, and then they finally pushed my buttons, where I was talking to another Senior of how we should redo the base since it's just so massive and a few tiny updates to the base take a few days to implement across the entire code. What instead happened was that I went to sleep, and this Senior told the CEO I was going to steal the code base and go sell it...
I woke up to messages of how the CEO is all pissed off, and that this what the Senior said. At this point, I started responding with, fuck it. I was so sick and fucking tired of their bullshit. I was the only fucking competent developer, and I did more work in the few months I was there then some people did in 2 or 3 years.
A few hours later I decided to go chat with the CEO and explained what was truly brought up, and he just brushed it off like I was lying. At that point, I lost it. I told him why the code base was horrible since he hired stupid ass developers. He didn't know how to code. People wanted certain items, and he wouldn't be able to add them for fucking months and players sit there making fun of it. Some people state the only differences they see within the code is the code I've done. Basically, he was an incompetent fuck that said he knew what he was doing, and had all these big plans for the future yet couldn't listen to the only competent developer and fucking claimed bullshit.
Now a few months have gone by, I'm looking at their community and it's basically dead with no proper updates except for copy and paste updates claiming to be custom coded. While I'm working on my real life businesses (Which are currently being a headache, but within the year should resolve its issues), starting University for my Computer Science degree here soon, and even considering building my own game here.
Basically, karma is a bitch and that's why when you get loyal people in your life, keep them. (Writing this at 3 am after a few drinks, hopefully, it made sense, I think it does.)
Anyways, goodnight everyone.5 -
Many Indiana entrepreneurs are now turning to loans to find capital to grow their businesses. The ability to obtain a business loan plays an important role in the process of expanding activities and ensuring the sustainability of the enterprise. In this regard, various financial institutions offer a wide range of loan products for small and medium-sized businesses.
To obtain a business loan in Indiana, entrepreneurs can turn to banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders. For example, you can contact https://gofundshop.com/usa/indiana/ . Banks typically offer traditional lending products such as lines of credit, long-term loans, and guarantee financing programs through the Small Business Administration. In addition, there are many credit cooperatives in Indiana that specialize in providing financial assistance to agricultural and small businesses.
However, the Indiana business lending market is not always straightforward. Many entrepreneurs are faced with the problem of lack of credit history or insufficient collateral base, which makes it difficult to obtain a loan. In such cases, turning to alternative lenders such as online lending platforms can be a solution. These lenders typically evaluate an entrepreneur's creditworthiness based on a variety of factors, including the business's financial performance, personal credit history, and the business's future growth plans.
It is important to note that Indiana has seen an increase in interest in business loans in recent years. Many entrepreneurs seek financial support to expand their business, launch new projects or upgrade equipment. In this regard, local banks and financial institutions are actively developing new lending programs, taking into account the specifics of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
Additionally, Indiana has many business support programs that can help you obtain a business loan. For example, the Small Business Administration provides loan guarantees that allow companies with limited credit histories to access financing. There are also government support programs that provide preferential loans and subsidies for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Thus, the Indiana business lending market offers a wide range of opportunities for entrepreneurs. Regardless of what industry the business belongs to, company owners have the opportunity to obtain credit resources for the further development and growth of their enterprise. It is important to choose the optimal loan product and contact reliable financial partners who can offer the best lending conditions.1 -
Today I am going to rant about this guy who I am working with in a group for creating a mobile application as a project for a course.
So let me give you some background info about this guy. He has 5 years of experience as data analyst from some company in India. Now he is here in Canada for his masters. I took him in the group thinking given his experience, he can be an asset. However, as I started talking to him it became clear that he has no experience with programming or software development. I am ok with that as everyone is new to something. However, he started intrupting and started giving negative feedback about each and every thing we discussed regarding the project. Don't get me wrong, I am all about getting feesback. But if someone who is just sitting there and just searching stuff on google just to bull shit with people to show that he knows stuff is irritating. He always provide useless feedback and solutions to any problems.
I was talking to him about his past working experience and his future plans after graduating. He literally said, "I want to learn just enough to fake in front of employer during interview. I was doing the same thing in my previous job." I was legit shocked at this moment.
Now I have to tolerate this for another 3 months. I am just worried about the project.7 -
Had a talk with my mentor and the CTO today.
They made very clear that they'd want to keep me employed after I finished my bachelor and briefly asked about my plans.
I am happy and this kind of gave me some more peace of mind concerning job security.
Thing is though, I don't know yet what I want to do in two years from now. There are some possibilities and of course I don't know how my private life will develop.
If I stay there, I could finish my bachelor and then do a master halftime, like I do now with my bachelor - or I could stop at my bachelor and start working full-time again.
I rather want to stay there - though I strongly dislike the 9 to 5 job model, the work would be in a field I'm interested in. My colleagues are a nice bunch of people and I respect them a lot, especially the team I work with.
On the other hand, I always thought about freelancing and was researching possibilities during the last year. My skills are not so easy to translate into a freelancing job, though, if I don't want to do at least 50% software development.
Or I could get a job somewhere else which would have the charms of starting from scratch. Many new experience, much new things, wow.
Maybe also a better salary though if I'd be doing the job for the money only, I'd probably have worked elsewhere.
...
I'm usually quite relaxed about my future plans but some of these things were on my mind for some time now, also, I'm not sure whether I can "define" my future just yet.
Also, I'm overthinking it, yes.
I will have another talk in about a month.
No pressure, right?7 -
!rant - Story:
I got accepted to the university of Osnabrück!
Finally! I've had a though time.
After kindergarten kids went to primary school while I had to go to a place called "Vorschule". Kids with disabilities go there. I, for one, was not physically disabled. I was psychologically disabled.
My German was not that good. My native language is Turkish. I had to spend 1 or 2 years there, before I was able to attend the primary school like the normal kids.
In the primary school a few teachers started making racist comments. I didn't really understand them, but my father did. After 2 years of attending that school, I switched to another primary school and continued with everything there.
In the secondary school (comprehensive school) I got bullied a lot. I was getting racist comments on a daily basis. Even by some teachers. Whereas some other teachers were showing it indirectly.
In the same school a teacher made me get a bad grade in one subject on purpose. Thus I got a bad certificate. Not the certificate I deserved.
I spent a year in economics after the secondary school. I was in a vocational school. I didn't like it, because I wasn't really interested in economics.
"Why did you choose that then?" you might ask. That's a legitimate question.
I didn't get accepted in anything related to informatics.
Anyways, I got bullied there, too. Physically beaten by trouble makers in my class and mentally by a french teacher.
He told me that I will not be able to get my certification that allows me to attend a university after me telling him that I will change the school and try it again in informatics. Several times.
I was in the new vocational school after that one. It was very stressful.
I, again, got bullied there. But this time not by the kids, but by some abusive teachers and directors.
One of them was a racist moron. My ex-PE teacher. He someday told me that I won't be able to achieve anything in my life.
I was always naive and kind of let all these words destroy my future plans in my head, but I had a little bit of hope nonetheless.
Today, I got a letter in which it was written that I got accepted to the university of Osnabrück!
Omg! I'm so fucking happy! I could explode! (A lil racist pun)17 -
So I have this 13 year old cousin who's pretty determined to follow my footsteps as a developer someday. He really likes gaming and all internet stuffs. His future plans makes me happy since I may finally have a relative that is a developer. But darn it! He's kinda weird coz he still throws tanrums. One of his major tantrums(which happened again last night) is that he wants the wireless Karaoke machine to be turned off because he thinks that it's slowing down the internet. It was his sister's birthday party and the guests are partying. I've told him many times that the signal for the karaoke is different from that of the router which has nothing to do with the internet slowing down. It must be caused by q device that is updating some apps or whatever. We live in the philippines and our internet provider is quite fast but it has this stupid fair usage policy that caps our bandwidth to a minimum speed if we reach a certain amount of data usage. Since he goes to youtube everyday in 480 and 720p, I explained it to him that it was one of the causes.
Last night, I almost got triggered because I wanted him to believe about the wifi being different to that of the karaoke machine's radio and that it is not connected to the wifi and not using data. I also told him about different kinds of wireless signals which I studied as a Software Engineering student back then and yet he still doesnt believe me. And what almost triggered me is that i saw his steam client updating while watching youtube. I told him that was it. But instead of agreeing, he refused to believe me and just told me that steam is just updating and he's not downloading anything which made me think why he keeps going to youtube, because...he's not downloading. Oh God! Good luck to this kid. 😂5 -
I'm having quite a hard time.
For my studies, I'm doing some research minor atm. And it's basically a 10 hour a week job for me atm. I have literally nothing else to do. No I do not do side projects, I do not aim to be a developer in the future.
This is causing me to sleep about 12hrs each night until it's impossible for me to fall asleep again. I just do not see any point in getting up unless I actually have something planned (meeting bf/friend). It's gotten to the point where I've actually cancelled plans because they didn't give me enough motivation to get up.
Since this is my last year in college, I am also stressing out about what to do next year because I cannot think of anything I enjoy doing.
I am worried abiut my health at this point. Any tips?14 -
> be me

> bosses have plans for my future
> insomnia hits
> wakes up at noon
> 15 missed calls, 20 unread messages at the start of my second week, some from the client firm

Please tell me it's not that bad and I'm not the only one that gets bent over by poor sleeping habits :(7 -

Sometimes when I have a 10s break, I think about what I did to get here, and what to do to get... somewhere alive (if possible)
6 years ago, I got my high school diploma in letters.
5 years ago, my depression started while I went to a development / management school. Dropped off one year before graduation, but I prefered to stay alive than having this diploma in my coffin.
1 year ago, I got this (kind of shitty but it pays well but it has drupal so fuck) job and my depression ended.
In two weeks, I'll get back to school for this last one year that I'm missing, so I'll finally get a better diploma.
Within 4 years maximum, I'll leave France to start a new / better / better paid life in Canada.
One hell of a ride, ain't it?5 -
100 weeks is ~ 2 years away.
It will be year 2020 then, the year i thought about in highschool 8 years ago wondering what I'd do then since 2020 sounded like a cool number.
It's time to write a letter to my future self.
Dear holodreamer ( version 2020 ),
This is your old version speaking from 2018. I see that you have upgraded to a better version of myself. I see that you are finally financially independent and preparing to move out to somewhere peaceful and better. According to my calculations, you should be feeling pressure from your family and relatives to get married. Looking from my perspective, it seems you had other plans than to settle for relationship this year, like traveling the world, being in the snow, mountains and living an adventurous lifestyle. I want you to know I'm proud of you if you are following though those goals.
Btw, do you remember that random muslim girl you met on the internet 110 weeks ago? Is she still in contact with you every day?! I hope not. Is she still super religious? She was a good chat buddy for me, a great alternative to a chatbots at my time but I hope you didn't get carried away with her and I hope you don't have to resort to chatbots to cure loneliness.
Did AI replace developers? Is JavaScript still the most popular programming language?
I'm waiting for your response.
Best wishes,
holodreamer (version 2018)2 -
At a previous job, boss & owner of company would waste hours of my time to show me, at his own desk, every small detail of some random feature he had fallen in love with on some random webpage he found, while saying "I don't want to disrupt your plans or anything, this is just something to keep in the back of your minds, as this would be a really nice thing to have, even tho none of the clients have asked for this and I have asked no one else for a second opinion, and I will most likely ask you to remove this feature in the future because I will finally have realized it wasn't that good an idea anyway."
Ok dipshit, what the fuck are we supposed to do with this information? Every week from this moment on you will ask whether we have found the time to implement this feature, even though you are fully aware that our schedule has no room for random, unplanned features and that we are already not able to meet the unreasonable deadline you pulled out of your ass two weeks into a development process that would end up taking 8+ months.
We are already overworked, we already work hours upon hours of unpaid overtime, and yet you still think it reasonable to pull us away from our work every other fucking day to talk about random extra features you want added, but don't want added to the roadmap because you want no delays... Fuck you, fuck your toxic attitude, fuck your meetings where you spend half an hour complaining about features we are still in the process of developing the backend functionality for (on test servers) not having the right font colour for the text, and fuck your legacy desktop software originally written in COBOL that you now want moved to "the cloud".
I would rather be unemployed and live as a hobo on the streets with a "will code for food" sign than work for you ever again. -
That feeling when the CEO gives a really positive pep talk about his future plans for the company but, deep inside you know your just caught up in a monkey shit fight that can never achieve the goals he’s laid out.

Yeah ok, this will be one of a few, but I'll try to keep it short. Damn, whiskey is not helping. Nor various smokables.
So yeah, have you ever had a dream? I consider myself a gamer the whole life, always loved creative worlds, dynamics, mechanics, plots, stuff you could and couldn't do. To the point I promised myself I'd make a game - NAH - I'll be making games in the future. You know, good games, that you come back to. Like Doom. Or those porn games.
Never went to Uni or nothing. Was born in a poor European country with Internet more broken than my soul right now. Years later, after acquiring some good hardware, learning a bunch of languages, Unity, Unreal Engine 4 and experimenting for about 10 years now with small scripts, apps and mini-games I've come to this realization.
I only made one "full" "game" in my life, and that was when I was like 16 in Klik & Play (early Game Maker). And it was shit. It was horrible, horrible shit. It literally makes you want to cry when you play it. It's 16-bit brain cancer. And it's the best I've ever published.
Now I've been through countless prototypes, none of which I've developed any further. I had ideas, plans, even made some more advanced roadmaps and dev cycles. Estimated costs, time, mechanics, gameplay hooks.
I never finish anything.
I get bored. Frustrated sometimes. There's always an improvement, something that "if I'd finish that it would be it! Screw this thing I was working on now, THAT will be worth sacrificing it." It's tiresome. I'm getting old.
And honestly, I don't know how people do it anymore. Trying to compromise those side-projects (they take all my free time which is not much) and work is just... draining. I'm losing hope. Maybe I shouldn't be allowed into the gamedev world after all. Maybe I'll just pump half-assed pieces of crap everybody will hate.
Or worse, nobody will care.7 -
What the fuck is wrong with these kind of people?!
So I recently appeared for an android dev job interview in a start-up; the whole time the interviewer (he was the CTO) looked super excited and into my work. I am a fresh graduate with 0 experience in a professional working environment but have a history of a couple of successful apps on the play store since 3 years. The entire time we discussed future plans for the startup and how I was going to contribute towards it. He seemed very interested in my deep learning projects for android and wanted to have similar projects for his products. In the end, he asked me to develop some 'test' projects that can be integrated into his start-up products and told me he'll hire me if he finds it to be as per his need. So I worked on these 'projects' for a month and submitted it to him. He replied that he's impressed with them and will contact me shortly to confirm my job.
That fucker has been ignoring me ever since. He's not responding to any of my e-mails or messages. I feel like a shit right now. How to deal with these assholes?5 -
What the hell is wrong with me?
It was even less than maybe 2 months ago since I loved my job, had co-workers I happily called friends, wrote code I was proud of, and felt like I had a meaning and a place in the industry. I had plans for my future and everything was great.
But this entire week felt terrible. Everything was awful.
I despised every single word of those idiots I called friends.
Their craft - our craft - is a colossal and monumental failure; A sad joke, that insults more than it entertains.
I can't bring myself to program, not even to fuck around at home...
And I have no idea what to do now.10 -
I am a good person. I can even say I am a good programmer. I have worked hard to get where I am and that shows perseverance. Although, where I am right now is not what I expected, I am somewhere. I can do something. I have good intentions.
Someday, I will build software which will be used by millions of people around the interwebs. And they will love me, for I will have made their lives better....in some way. Some will even consider paying me for it. Not because the well placed and non intrusive donate button I put there, but out of pure adoration and bare necessity to preserve someone as brilliant and precious as me. I shall be the definition of success. But I long for neither adoration nor wealth, for I am humble or at least that is how I will be perceived.
Like flies to the honey my success will attract big evil corporations to acquire my business. And I shall spit on their wretched face....at first. I would like to be wooed. Such display of integrity shall inspire generations of programmers. Let ye be inspired. There will be those who envy my achievements and they will be mocked and shunned by my true believers. But being the kind soul that I am, I will bring back my minions, for it could a PR nightmare.
All these events will take place in a not too distant future. Sure, I am going through a dark time now, it will pass. 'tis nothing but me transitioning from a lame ass PHP coder moth to this totally badass software engineer who is also a cool bro. This eclipse of my brain shall pass. My neurons will fire in all directions like photons from the sun during late winter, for it may overheat and we definitely don't want that.
I pray to the gods of engineering to grant my wishes. Trust me guys, you will be thanking yourselves when donate my money to charities that will help me set up. But that's another scheme. Amen.4 -

At my current work (sports wear bla bla bla) we recently had couple of brands come by (136people) and had a presentation. One of the market lead peps stood and talked about future plans and projects in the following:
👨🏻💼MarketGuy: "we want to improve the e-shop service and direct booking system. Think about it, AI, machine learning and deep network, these are all out there and we should consider working with it!"
👨🏻Me: ... *Thinking* "buzzwords, buzzwords everywhere.. dude you don't even know how to excel..
👨🏻💼: *Continues babbling about website, Blockchain and AI together with sportswear and the future of working together*

Best career decision:
Doing many different jobs before programming, move to capital city to pursue first software development job without money, college degree, place to stay and plans for future.
Worst career choice:
Probably would be staying in Poland despite many opportunities to travel around the world, earn big money or work on really cool things as software developer but I won’t know until I die.2 -
TL;DR; do your best all you like, strive to be the #1 if you want to, but do not expect to be appreciated for walking an extra mile of excellence. You can get burned for that.
They say verbalising it makes it less painful. So I guess I'll try to do just that. Because it still hurts, even though it happened many years ago.
I was about to finish college. As usual, the last year we have to prepare a project and demonstrate it at the end of the year. I worked. I worked hard. Many sleepless nights, many nerves burned. I was making an android app - StudentBuddy. It was supposed to alleviate students' organizational problems: finding the right building (city plans, maps, bus schedules and options/suggestions), the right auditorium (I used pictures of building evac plans with classes indexed on them; drawing the red line as the path to go to find the right room), having the schedule in-app, notifications, push-notifications (e.g. teacher posts "will be 15 minutes late" or "15:30 moved to aud. 326"), homework, etc. Looots of info, loooots of features. Definitely lots of time spent and heaps of new info learned along the way.
The architecture was simple. It was a server-side REST webapp and an Android app as a client. Plenty of entities, as the system had to cover a broad spectrum of features. Consequently, I had to spin up a large number of webmethods, implement them, write clients for them and keep them in-sync. Eventually, I decided to build an annotation processor that generates webmethods and clients automatically - I just had to write a template and define what I want generated. That worked PERFECTLY.
In the end, I spun up and implemented hundreds of webmethods. Most of them were used in the Android app (client) - to access and upsert entities, transition states, etc. Some of them I left as TBD for the future - for when the app gets the ADMIN module created. I still used those webmethods to populate the DB.
The day came when I had to demonstrate my creation. As always, there was a commission: some high-level folks from the college, some guests from businesses.
My turn to speak. Everything went great, as reversed. I present the problem, demonstrate the app, demonstrate the notifications, plans, etc. Then I describe at high level what the implementation is like and future development plans. They ask me questions - I answer them all.
I was sure I was going to get a 10 - the highest score. This was by far the most advanced project of all presented that day!
Other people do their demos. I wait to the end patiently to hear the results. Commission leaves the room. 10 minutes later someone comes in and calls my name. She walks me to the room where the judgement is made. Uh-oh, what could've possibly gone wrong...?
The leader is reading through my project's docs and I don't like the look on his face. He opens the last 7 pages where all the webmethods are listed, points them to me and asks:
LEAD: What is this??? Are all of these implemented? Are they all being used in the app?
ME: Yes, I have implemented all of them. Most of them are used in the app, others are there for future development - for when the ADMIN module is created
LEAD: But why are there so many of them? You can't possibly need them all!
ME: The scope of the application is huge. There are lots of entities, and more than half of the methods are but extended CRUD calls
LEAD: But there are so many of them! And you say you are not using them in your app
ME: Yes, I was using them manually to perform admin tasks, like creating all the entities with all the relations in order to populate the DB (FTR: it was perfectly OK to not have the app completed 100%. We were encouraged to build an MVP and have plans for future development)
LEAD: <shakes his head in disapproval>
LEAD: Okay, That will be all. you can return to the auditorium
In the end, I was not given the highest score, while some other, less advanced projects, were. I was so upset and confused I could not force myself to ask WHY.
I still carry this sore with me and it still hurts to remember. Also, I have learned a painful life lesson: do your best all you like, strive to be the #1 if you want to, but do not expect to be appreciated for walking an extra mile of excellence. You can get burned for that. -
Almost everyone here has shared a story about their boss whether bad or good at some point in their time on devRant. Here's mine.
I started out in my current company around mid third year in college. I have been doing freelance for about six years which is why I think my boss hired me.
I couldn't be more thankful for these last 10 months in this company, every experience has been epic. Since my boss knows my future plans and how I hope to build my own company some day, my boss has been mentoring me ever since I've knew him.
Last week he even offered to take me along with him and certain other members of our team to the US to meet with a client of ours. (I have nothing to do with the client, he just offered the trip for the heck of it.)
I can't wait to see where my time with this company will lead me.1 -
I got a question at an interview today asking what type of developer do you want to be and what's your long term technical goal. Right now I'm a senior software engineer at a pretty well known solid mid sized tech company. I work across the stack but I really don't know what type of developer I want to be.
Which way technically are you directing your engineering career? How and why did you decide this is the type of work you want to do?6 -
Its only 5 months left till my graduation, and my mind is getting fucked up.
The current startup i am interning with is a lot stressful and demanding. I am giving my 1000%, only because this is the only place to.. how can i explain..
if world is a race of horses, then i am the tortoise and these guys are the only slow horses that i think i can catch up with. These people are your next door app dev startup, releasing multiple apps fastly and trying to hit the magic recipe. I am not sure if i am learning anything besides how to search stuff on my own and produce faster results. But still, better than nothing.
However i am a far sighted person and am not sure if this is the future that i want.
I am currently giving 14+ hours to this startup as an intern (including all the traveling from home). The only relaxation i could make in future is to shift near the office which will save me 3-4 hours but then what?
I am currently running out of goals. My childhood was shit, but i want to make my youth meaningful.
Leaving my home means leaving the only 2 people (mom/dad) currently present actively in my life.
My college would be over by then, all my colleagues are all on their own ,going into different companies. We don't meet now leave alone meeting then. I am also not much into( or have the time to be into) online games and anime where those guys meet/chat
Not that i was able to gather courage to get into some relationship or talk to people till now. I don't have much talks with my officemate or gals coz 1 :i am so full of work and (2) i simply can't
Currently i spent my whole Saturday sleeping and watching movies and Sunday doing the office work.
Is this going to be my whole working life now? I often think other people's jobs as less demanding but i don't think that would be the case.
I just want to be in touch with people, the people that i know, the people i can trust somewhat.
When i was in 7th std, life was so easy. There was this just 1 irritating thing called school that we had to attend.
After that, we used to run down to nearest park in our shorts and cricketbats or rsckets, play till our heart's content, then sit in some friends house for hours and talk shit , then come back home , do some irritating study, then go back to watching television and playing online games with those same friends , while deciding the birthday party of some guy and game plans for the next day.

Broke up with my girlfriend due to ongoing stress to commit to the relationship, to perform at my current job, graduating early next March, looking for a full time job/studying for interviews, and going to school.
We never really planned long term and we were just in the relationship to have fun, but man do breakups suck.
I want to be able to focus on myself so I can set myself up for greatness in the future. Unfortunately that means sacrifices have to be made so I don’t lose my mind. Oof4 -

I had a talk with my manager about my future role in the company. I had talked with him before about my interest to dive deeper in the technical side - rather than the business side, for which we have a higher dev demand.
The outcome is that I will work more closely with the senior devs on technical improvements and also tech strategy (e.g. implementation of code reviews). I will also advise the upcoming manager of the development team (who is coming from a PM position) on technical decisions. Lastly the roadmap for the company is to work more with cloud technology (azure), which is also going to be in my new duties.
I'm looking forward to these new challenges where I can improve myself on the technical side (yay!) rather than on the business side (which bored me).1 -
Has anyone here considered going off grid? Im dreaming of buying a plot somewhere in Chile and building an off grid home. Im a remote worker and plan to remain being one.
(Off grid meaning generating your own electricity, 'harvesting' rain water and growing some greens)
Im asking to get advice and opinions2 -
OpenSSH has announced plans to drop support for it's SHA-1 authentication method.
According to the report of ZDNet : The OpenSSH team currently considered SHA-1 hashing algorithm insecure (broken in real-world attack in February 2017 when Google cryptographers disclosed SHAttered attack which could make two different files appear as they had the same SHA-1 file signature). The OpenSSH project will be disabling the 'ssh-rsa' (which uses SHA-1) mode by default in a future release, they also plan to enable the 'UpdateHostKeys' feature by default which allow servers to automatically migrate from the old 'ssh-rsa' mode to better authentication algorithms.2 -
What is DevRant's business model? It's a really great community, and I'm interested about how it's monetized (or plans for the future)4

A lot has changed over the last month for me in my life.
The cases are rising crazily now. Thanks to the stupid govt's immature and unplanned lockdown.
Now while over 20k+ cases are being reported every single day, there is no sign or plan to contain it properly.
Two weeks ago, I had a mental breakdown over the uncertainty in future plans ( was planning to get a job in remote company and ditch current job to go back home in this grave situation but it has been delayed ) and burnout from living almost same routine since mid-March. I just wanted to go back to my home state where I will feel safe even if I get infected somehow.
Me and my friends have vacated our rented apartment last weekend. I'm now at the airport to leave this city and in less than 8 hrs, I will be back to my home where I will stay 14 days in quarantine before I can go out again.
I'm glad to have a job which I can "work from home". But more importantly, I'm glad to go back to my place which I can truly call my home. 🏠♥️23 -
so I started a side project a while ago.
the only thing it could do was to create some files with desired names and extensions. so this was basically a pretty simple editor.
I left this project with no future plans for a month or so until I started working on it again this week. I added comments to the editor, a console user interface.
the ui isn't futuristic. the program runs in the console. it just lists all the files and folders where the program is currently located in. in the beginning it could take user input and that input was the location where the files created in the editor would be saved. then I thought: it would be more interesting if I created a folder in which I saved the files from the editor. so I did this thing.
then I thought, again: hey, this console is pretty boring and stuff. why should I add some special commands? and so I did.
now you can create an empty folder, before you created a folder and saved at the same time the files created in the editor. now you can open another folder in which you can do the same stuff as before. you can get the current location of the folder you are currently in, so you don't get lost in your fancy computer. you can delete a folder completely, set color, reset color.
but one thing that I lost almost ONE FREAKING HOUR ON IT TO MAKE THE USER EXPERIENCE BETTER was the following: when creating a folder, either empty or with the files from the editor, the program automatically opens the folder, not in the console(hey, I didn't thought of that) but in the file explorer from the os. now it only works for windows and windows explorer because I used system(const char*). I know it's not portable or efficient but I just wanted things to work, I will optimise it later.
the thing that made me lose that one hour debugging was figuring out how to open that file.
ok, so I used windows api with GetCurrentDirectory, I knew how to use system, I knew how to form the path that would match up with the folder, I almost knew how to open the folder with system().
the problem was that I had the path complete, but if the folder had white spaces system() wouldn't recognise the freaking command!
so the string with the path would also contain the command used in system() and I would just .c_str() the string so it could work. as an example my wrong way to make the path was this:
"start C:\\path"
can you figure out what is the problem?
you don't?
it's just so trivial.
how cannot you figure it out?
of course you NEED to put "explorer" between the start command and the actual path!
pffft, you idiot! so easy to figure it out.
so yeah, the right way to open a folder is like this:
"start explorer C:\\path to heLL!!"
p.s.: I still don't understand why putting explorer works and without it doesn't. without explorer it just just says that path with the first word before the white space doesn't exist. -
I have a few projects on the go at work at the moment which could be successful, but only time will tell:
1. We have a requirement to monitor or SQL servers for any long running queries (anything that runs longer than 3 minutes). Company didn’t want to pay for enterprise grade solution so as the only SQL Developer I created a small system that involves a database, 2 tables a stored procedure and scheduled job. It goes off every 10 minutes queries some system tables etc and write the results to the tables. Still waiting for it to be deployed to one of the test servers. I have plans for a web front end in the future.
2. My company currently use source safe for version control. They’ve lost the admin password so only 1 person can log in. I’m running he project to plan the migration to GitLab. It’s getting close to completion and soon someone is going to be tasked with creating 100s or projects etc.
3. We use an ERP system which is huge with thousands of tables, but no FKs or anything like that. The current data dictionary is a spreadsheet, as a side project I’m creating a web app so that this information is easily available and searchable.
All 3 projects have the potential to be successful, for my team at least, but stuck waiting for other people to do their stuff first. -
We have been at a university of applied sciences today with our class.
It was kind of ok. I did expect more surprising things there. The whole building was smaller than our college (not the same as in the US). The rooms, where profs tell you things with a series of rows of seats, were dirty and pretty much used to the point that the seats are about to break easily.
I was expecting the university to be kind of the same as the universities you see in the movies lol.
It could have at least been bigger than our college and more "modern" than our school.
[...]
Anyways, let us get to the point here.
We were first in the foyer and afterwards in their main lecture hall.
We were introduced to the day's plans by a team of engaged students from different study programs and the president of the professors. Yada yada yada.
We got the full program in each room and each individual time span filled with study programs on a sheet of paper.
I did select pharmacy, media production, architecture, data science, applied computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering and future energies.
Pharmacy and data science were the most interesting study programs to me. I have asked one of the professors if deep learning was a topic for bachelor students, as well.
He said that that is only the usual case for people who got a promotion.
As an example he told me that yesterday he was at a conference hall with 10.000 people in which he gave a talk about deep learning. "Most of them were professors" he said. "Since this study program is new, it might change in a few years" he added to his conversation.
It is quite hard having to decide now.
Geo informatics and Aerospace Engineering did sound interesting, too.
There are a lot of things I would like to study at the same time haha.
Idk if I should just pick mechanical engineering first and add one or two after it to it. But that would take a lot of time. Geez.7 -
TL;DR: I have some rambly shit to say...
Update on the Uni stuff: I think I got a pass in all the subjects. Two exams left but I am holding on. It's a big deal to me since last year I could barely do a single subject per semester - a subject I had failed a few times because of lack of interest and good ol' depression. Anyways, I persisted with that subject, got my Bachelor's in Food Technology and now I'm doing that Master's of mine... It probably looks wild to people here that I did that switch but I have always had a relationship with computers as long as I remember myself. So it's not surprising that as soon as I got a choice in what I *actually* wanted to do I chose this kinda thing. But I do have to rant that it took me 10 fucking years to choose! And that I did not choose it before choosing food technology which I will probably never use anyways. I wasted so much of my energy and time on that. I did elect programming as one of the subjects while doing food tech but I really should have moved to something else. But oh well. Guess I had to find out the hard way.
For all those reading, this is what it looks like when you're 30, have very little experience in doing programming for anything else than academics and are doing a major career switch through studies after struggling for 10 years with a 4-year Bachelor's. But such is life.
Also a bit off topic but I just cannot handle people not telling what they mean because of the inability or lesser ability to tell what that is in the first place.
I can't deal with the fact of how fucked human societies are. I just can't. I am way too nice for it. So I listen to stuff like true crime to really get a feel of how evil people can be. I know it's ~problematic~ or whatever, but to me it is a way of engaging with the lesser spoken side of human beings.
And maybe, just maybe, I should get checked for ADHD again because I feel like despite my therapy for depression, nothing really has changed with the ADHD symptoms I was diagnosed with. And maybe for autism since people have labelled me that way and it might explain some stuff... All that is to say I need some good mental care. And this society is shit for it. Hell, apparently one of the psychologists I was under the care of thought depression resulted from ungratefulness. All this while I was legit being abused. But that abuse has stopped now that I found a psychologist that is actually standing up for me. I just mourn for all the time I spent being depressed and how it fucked my memory and stuff. How much it affected me and all. I have no idea why I'm being this vulnerable but it feels somewhat fitting... How do you cope with being 30 and not remembering almost all your life? What you remember being what you managed to write down or has been negative enough it stuck in the brain for forever...
Just why am I fucking supposed to be all happy and shit when I am just tired of life because it is too goddamn much? I have no real reason to look forward to things, online friends and the offline one included. Because ultimately, I have no damn motivation to look forward to anything, really. I am supposedly doing better but in reality I am just getting better at going through the motions. The therapy, while mindblowingly effective, is not actually addressing the core cause of everything and just expecting me to fake it till I make it. And this is me saying that about CBT. Why should I have to tell myself things just to feel human? I am one and as long as I'm alive, nothing will change that. So why do I have to always feel like an alien wherever I am? So out of touch with myself that I don't have a self image or an ability to even tell what the actual fuck I want from life... I am getting better with the latter, but still. It hurts. I wanna shed so many tears but I'm frustratingly unable to do so.
I am just a human trying to human in this ocean of 8 billion humans. Maybe I will find some more connections, maybe I won't.
I wanna end this rambling session by a few things:
1. I will have to go to Canada at some point this year to see my in-laws and some other family over there...
2. I will probably have to seek a job there (for financial reasons it is much better for me to have one there and to work remotely in Georgia) and I have no idea of where to start since I am not the greatest material for it.
3. Life is going alright-ish.
4. I will hear from the startup company at some point this month.
5. I have plans for my future but no idea if they will ever come true at this point.
6. My family arrangement will have to change in more ways than one.
7. I should resume my unofficial first music album and engage in creative stuff because at the core, I have a need to do so.
8. Do I really have to do Duolingo again? I really want to not forget German and Russian, but I just never have practice. And Duolingo is surprisingly easy to forget to do for me.
The end.2 -
For future generations :
Bring back cocaine to coca cola.
Since 1904 Coca Cola no longer contains extract from cocaine leaves.
Drugs who made us.
If we live in matrix and we are simulated the general rule would be wipe bugs from the system so ex. if all of people were using cocaine cause they drink coca cola the wipe would be remove cocaine from the coca cola. That would fix the cocaine bug. Cause people in 1904 had almost no knowledge about how world looks like, they were using pigeons to deliver messages. If we bring back cocaine maybe we would also bring back those times, when everyone dropped cocaine in 1939 - 35 years old ourselves were fighting to death between each other cause of rehab.
I wonder how many of those non visual but only statistical bugs we have on this planet. Machine learning is just one of the tools we use to learn about them.1 -
What was the path like to get to your current position?
Is it your end-goal position? If not what are your plans for the future?2 -
So I'm currently working on a chat app that deals with astrology..dealing in the sense we are building an AI which gives prediction based on ones date of birth, time of birth and place of birth, you can ask it questions (currently only career related) and you get some prediction..it's an in-house project, we have a client who is an astrologer who gives us the logic to compute the predictions ..it's still a long way from being an AI ...so our CEO walks in one day with his huge plans for the product...decides to ditch the app completely, on which we have invested 4 months of our time and instead make an appointment scheduling webapp for our client as he felt that would fetch us some green stuff..so I was like why ditch the app when we can have the same module in the app itself and ask the astrologer to make his clients install if they want to book future appointments, he completely disregarded my idea and said that is bad marketing and all other shit and he went on to explain his other ideas ...I didn't think much of it at that time , then the CEO and the director of technology had a separate meeting where the director has made the same points which I had told him(ceo) that it is a bad idea to ditch the app (I wasn't aware of this meeting untill later)...so after a week we have a team meeting with the CEO, director of technology ...where he starts telling how it is not so wise to Chuck the existing application and build a new one which is totally unnecessary and we can have it as a module in the existing one...and I'm like sitting there thinking to myself da fck is he talking about...so i decided to stay silent and listen to his bs...my marketing lead leans over and ask y so silent ....I tell her whatever he is talking now is the same thing I told last week which he rejected blatantly... And then he had the nerve to ask me any inputs to this plan...I couldn't hold back ...I told him that this is the exact same thing I told u last week , to which his reply was focus on the future and forget the past ....I was like mother fckr woooooot ...I realised the power of position !! Fuckol man3

So, hello. :)
I'm on my second semester of my IT degree. I'm in "Analysis and development of systems". I aways loved the world of technology, and more especific development.
The thing is, right now I work on a bank, but I'm starting to hate that thing. Stress 24h a day, and I'm doing something I don't like.
I've married a few months ago, so now I have a family to maintain, the main reason I'm waiting to get a degree before starting on my IT career (maybe it could help on getting a new job or even freelancing).
Now, I need a little help. A lot of you looks like to be working on this for some good years. What are your advices? Do I need a degree to start on my career? If quitted my job right now, even without experience on the programming world (professionally), would it be worth it?
I have little experience with freelancing, I don't think its enough to work full time on freelancing development. Should I try it? What you guys think? Or should I just drop out on work and star investing on my career? -
I would work at an animal shelter. I would need a big house though because I would take so many animals home

I got an interview with the first company that has ever taken me seriously in 8 days (Oct 5). It's not the technical interview yet, but I'm still really fucking nervous. I really don't want to screw this up and i would love to finally be a professional...ish software/web developer; not to mention I kinda need a new job since being put on call at my current workplace (tourism's slow season). I got a lot of future plans hanging on the outcome of this at this point, and I can't shake the negative feeling that things aren't going to work out how I want them to, but at the same I feel confident enough to say within myself that I got this--what the hell is wrong eith me? 😥😥😥4

Sid the IT guy: so change of plans: I probably can’t fly to East India this spring to fight you since I’m in college, shitty life circumstances, and I don’t have the funds, but I’m happy to reschedule the fight sometime in the future when I go to India. Potentially if you come to the US we could make it happen. I will also plan to be near Amritsar this spring if you wanted to make a trip out there…10

So im about to finish a mean stack bootcamp in 2 weeks. Im working on my final project and its nothing too fancy im just doing a simple inventory app (i have future plans for it to bundle it into an entire suite for a specific subset of retail). So i take my live coding exam and fork it (simple app with crud finished) and im trying to add an edit feature that populates tge fields with the prior data. Spent the whole of yesterday working on it from 12a-midnight. Just this one feature to bring previous values into an edit page. Seems simple enough. But it wasnt working right. So im looking all over posted on SO even got a friend of mine thats been programming for 20 years to help me and we cant figure out why it thinks a variable is undefined when it clearly has a value dorectly before the save method fires. (Console.logged that shit)
At about midnight i realize its because i needed to write a router.put in the api because i was just using the regular save originally :/ -
Ok, so i'm passionnate about programming and wanna turn this passion into my job... I'm currently studying in high school and i have to look at some schools before i pass my exams..
What do you recommand me, wich formations to learn Game Programming or Programming in general after high school ? I'm from France, i'll search about similarities if it's only UK, US...6 -

As a startup owner based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I was excited to hire a freelance graphic designer for a complete branding package to launch my business. After some research, I found a highly recommended freelancer who seemed perfect for the job. The freelancer was professional, provided impressive samples of their work, and had great reviews from previous clients. We agreed on a high-paying contract, and to show my commitment, I paid a 50% upfront deposit of CAD 10,000.The freelancer was communicative and met deadlines as we moved through the project. I felt confident in the direction we were heading, and everything seemed to be on track. But when I finally received the completed designs, things took an unexpected turn. Despite my requests for some minor revisions, the freelancer stopped responding to emails and calls. As days passed, I became increasingly worried as they completely vanished. The contact email was suddenly invalid, and the phone number didn’t go through. Even the freelancer's website, which had seemed legitimate, was now offline.I realized that I had been scammed. Not only had I lost the remaining CAD 10,000 payment, but the branding designs I had received were unusable making the time, money, and energy I had put into this project a total waste. As a new business owner, this loss was incredibly hard to handle. It affected my ability to move forward with my plans and left me feeling helpless.Desperate for a solution, I reached out to SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL , a company I had heard about through some online reviews. I explained the entire situation, providing all the details: the freelancer’s communications, the fake website, and the transaction records. The team at SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL was incredibly professional and understanding, assuring me that they would use all their resources to track down the freelancer and recover my funds. To my amazement, within a few weeks, SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL had managed to trace the stolen money. They used advanced digital forensics to track the funds to an offshore account and collaborated with legal authorities to freeze it. After a thorough investigation, they successfully recovered the full CAD 10,000 and returned it to me.Not only did I get my money back, but SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL also took the time to educate me on how to verify the legitimacy of freelancers before hiring them. They recommended secure payment methods and advised me to conduct thorough background checks to avoid future scams. This was a wake-up call for me. As a business owner, I learned the importance of safeguarding myself against dishonest individuals. Thanks to SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL, I didn’t just recover my funds I gained the knowledge and confidence to continue growing my business while protecting myself from potential fraud.

ETHEREUM AND USDT RECOVERY EXPERT- HIRE SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY
The moment my Bitcoin wallet froze mid-transfer, stranding $410,000 in cryptographic limbo, I felt centuries of history slip through my fingers. That balance wasn’t just wealth; it was a lifeline for forgotten libraries, their cracked marble floors and water-stained manuscripts waiting to breathe again. The migration glitch struck like a corrupted index: one second, funds flowed smoothly; the next, the transaction hung “Unconfirmed,” its ID number mocking me in glowing red. Days bled into weeks as support tickets evaporated into corporate ether. I’d haunt the stacks of my local library, tracing fingers over brittle Dickens volumes, whispering, “I’m sorry,” to ghosts of scholars past. Then, Marian—a silver-haired librarian with a crypto wallet tucked beside her ledger found me slumped at a mahogany study carrel. “You’ve got the blockchain stare,” she murmured, pressing a Post-it into my palm.
Salvage Asset Recovery. “They resurrected my nephew’s Ethereum after a smart contract imploded. Go.”
I emailed them at midnight, my screen’s blue glare mixing with moonlight through stained-glass windows. By dawn, their engineers had dissected the disaster. The glitch, they explained, wasn’t a hack but a protocol mismatch, a handshake between wallet versions that failed mid-encryption, freezing funds like a book jammed in a pneumatic tube. “Your Bitcoin isn’t lost,” assured a specialist named Leo. “It’s stuck in a cryptographic limbo. We’ll debug the transaction layer by layer.”
Thirteen days of nerve-shredding limbo followed. I’d refresh blockchain explorers obsessively, clinging to updates: “Reverse-engineering OP_RETURN outputs…” “Bypassing nonce errors—progress at 72%...” My library blueprints, quotes for climate-controlled archives, plans for AR-guided tours sat untouched, their ink fading under my doubt. Then, on a frostbitten morning, the email arrived: “Transaction invalidated. Funds restored.” I watched, trembling, as my wallet repopulated $410,000 glowing like a Gutenberg Bible under museum lights.
Salvage Asset Recovery didn’t just reclaim my Bitcoin; they salvaged a bridge between past and future. Today, the first restored library stands in a 19th-century bank building, its vault now a digital archive where blockchain ledgers track preservation efforts. Patrons sip fair-trade coffee under vaulted ceilings, swiping NFTs that unlock rare manuscript scans, a symbiosis of parchment and Python code.
These assets are more than technicians; they’re custodians of legacy. When code fails, they speak its dead languages, reviving what the digital world dismisses as lost. And to Marian, who now hosts Bitcoin literacy workshops between poetry readings, you were the guardian angel this techno-hermit didn’t know to pray for.
If your crypto dreams stall mid-flight, summon Salvage Asset Recovery. They’ll rewrite the code, rebuild the bridge, and ensure history never becomes a footnote. All thanks to Salvage Asset Recovery- their contact info

HOW TO TRACE AND RECOVER LOST/STOLEN BITCOIN VISIT CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
Have you ever experienced being scammed in the past, whether through investment or impersonation? It’s crucial to remember that feeling ashamed of mistakes is unnecessary, as these experiences contribute to our growth and wisdom. Fortunately, there are now solutions available for recovering lost funds, and my personal experience with Cyber Constable Intelligence is a testament to their effectiveness. My ordeal began with what I believed to be a promising investment opportunity. I had invested £209,000 into a website that seemed legitimate and was promising significant returns. Over just two weeks, I saw my investment grow by over £190,000 in profits. The platform’s claims and the rapid increase in my account balance made me feel confident and optimistic about the future. However, when I attempted to withdraw my profits, things took a sudden turn for the worse. I received a message instructing me to contact support to process the withdrawal. Naively, I followed the instructions, only to discover that my supposed profits were fabricated. The realization that I had been scammed and that my funds were effectively trapped on a fraudulent website was deeply unsettling. The anxiety and frustration were compounded by the fact that my initial investment was now at risk, and all my plans based on those profits came to an abrupt halt. Desperate to reclaim my money, I explored every possible avenue I could think of. I tried contacting the platform’s support, sought advice from online forums, and even reached out to local authorities. Despite my best efforts, I found that none of these actions led to a resolution. Each attempt seemed to bring more frustration and despair, and the hope of recovering my funds seemed to diminish. It was during this challenging period that I heard about Cyber Constable Intelligence. I had initially been skeptical about their services, but given the gravity of my situation and the unsuccessful outcomes of my previous attempts, I decided to give them a chance. I contacted Cyber Constable Intelligence, explaining the details of my predicament and providing all necessary information about the fraudulent website and my investments. The team at Cyber Constable Intelligence responded promptly and with great professionalism. They assured me that they had the expertise and tools necessary to tackle such cases. They outlined a clear plan of action and kept me informed every step of the way. Their approach was thorough, involving detailed investigations and advanced techniques to trace and recover my funds. The process wasn’t instant, but Cyber Constable Intelligence’s diligence and expertise eventually paid off. After working with their team, I was able to recover my original investment of £209,000. The recovery of my initial funds was a huge relief and allowed me to move past the disappointment of the fraudulent scheme. Although my plans for the profits had to be put on hold, the fact that I managed to get back my initial investment provided a significant sense of closure. Now that my original funds are safely recovered, I can shift my focus to more reliable and resourceful investment opportunities, ones that do not involve the risks and uncertainties associated with digital scams. The experience has taught me valuable lessons about due diligence and the importance of verifying the legitimacy of any investment opportunity before committing funds. For anyone facing a similar situation, where you’ve been scammed or have lost money to a fraudulent scheme, I strongly recommend reaching out to Cyber Constable Intelligence. Their expertise and commitment to helping individuals in distress can make a substantial difference. They offer a viable solution to reclaiming lost funds and navigating the complexities of financial fraud recovery. while being scammed can be an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience, it is essential to know that there are resources available to help you recover your losses. Cyber Constable Intelligence demonstrated their capability and dedication in assisting me, and I am grateful for their support. If you find yourself in need of assistance with recovering lost funds, don’t hesitate to contact Cyber Constable Intelligence—they could be the key to regaining what you’ve lost and moving forward with confidence.

HIRE A GENUINE HACKER TO RECOVER LOST BTC & USDT- VISIT SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY
I had $560,000 in Bitcoin saved up to fund my life's passion, an off-grid solar project designed to bring light to rural villages. Years of scrimping, saving, and explaining to skeptical relatives that no, Bitcoin wasn't just for internet gamblers, came down to this. But a slip of the finger almost sent my plans into eternal darkness.
Making a final transfer to consolidate my project funds, I had copied the wrong wallet address. It was so quick. One paste, one click, and my stomach dropped faster than a solar panel off a roof. My entire investment vanished into the digital ether. I stared at the screen, waiting for it to grow arms and slap me in the face. When it didn't, I knew I was in trouble.
Desperation led me to an energy summit, more for a diversion than anything. But fate has a sense of humor. During networking in a break, I heard a speaker casually mention Salvage Asset Recovery, as one might refer to a weather app, not the digital cavalry. I pounced like a man who'd seen a power outlet in the desert.
From that first call, their crew oozed competence and tranquility. They treated my busted transfer like an engineering challenge, not a personal disaster (even though I was seconds away from rechristening the project "Bit coinless in the Dark"). Using advanced blockchain tracing techniques, they mapped the Byzantine trail of transactions. I imagined them in hard hats, working the blockchain like electricians restoring downed power lines.
Each update brought hope. Eleven days in, they located the funds. Two days after that, I had it back, every Satoshi. I nearly hugged my solar panel prototype.
The Salvage Asset not only recovered my money; they future-proofed me. They walked me through address verification processes, multi-sig security, and how not to let jitters turn your dream into a nightmare. It did not come across as a lecture but more like taking advice from an older brother who went through every tech blunder imaginable.
Today, my project is charging forward (pun intended). The first village will soon bask in sustainable power. When they flip that switch, I’ll know it was made possible by hard work, a bit of luck, and the brilliance of Salvage Asset Recovery. REACH OUT TO SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY, THIER CONTACT DETAILS

RECOVER YOUR STOLEN CRYPTO: EXPERT SOLUTIONS FOR FAST ASSET RECOVERY WITH THE ASSIST FROM SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL
I don’t even know where to start, but I feel like I have to share my experience, hoping it will save someone else from making the same mistake I did. A few months ago, I decided to take a big risk and invested my life savings into a platform that promised security, growth, and lucrative returns. Everything seemed perfect at first great user interface, glowing reviews, and even positive recommendations from influencers. My plan was to use the profits to finally make my dream trip to Dubai—a place I’ve always wanted to visit, and I thought the money would give me the freedom to live a better life. But when I tried to make a withdrawal for the first time, everything went downhill. I logged into my account and was suddenly locked out. I tried to reset my password, but nothing worked. I reached out to customer support, but my emails and messages were ignored. It felt like my account had just vanished. As the hours turned into days, I started to panic. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I had trusted this platform with everything. It wasn’t just my savings—it was the chance to finally make my dream a reality. And now, it felt like it was slipping away. I was feeling desperate, helpless, and heartbroken. The worst part? I thought I had lost it all. The platform had promised security, but instead, I was left with nothing. I was furious, devastated, and questioning everything. The idea of never being able to visit Dubai, or even get my money back, was unbearable. But then, through a random post on Reddit, I discovered SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL. Initially, I thought it was just another scam, but after reading about their success stories, I decided to give it a try. I reached out to them on WhatsApp:+1 (971) 4 8 7 -3 5 3 8 OR Telegram:+1 (581) 2 8 6 - 8 0 9 2 , and within days, they began working on my case. To my relief, SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL saved me from financial ruin. They expertly navigated the platform's systems, and after some time, I was finally able to regain access to my account and withdraw my funds. The feeling of relief was indescribable I was finally able to move forward with my plans, including booking my trip to Dubai.
I work at a wine packing company in Atlanta called Okanagan Valley Wines, and losing that money felt like losing my entire future. If you're facing a similar situation, don’t give up hope. Research trusted recovery services like SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL and protect your hard-earned money.

My aspiration is to create green houses. I've long believed that a green future starts with the houses we live in. The same belief led me to invest in Bitcoin, gradually amassing a $670,000 portfolio to bankroll my dream of a zero-waste neighborhood of houses. But one rash click was enough to watch my carefully built plans go up in flames. It was a ruthless week. Deadlines were piling up, subcontractors were behind schedule, and my caffeine intake had reached record heights. During the chaos, I installed what I thought was a run-of-the-mill update to Ledger Live. It looked legit, neat logo, familiar design, but it was a wolf in sheep's clothing digital. The moment I entered my wallet details, the screen flashed, and the app vanished. My heart stopped. My Bitcoin was stolen. Panic turned into sleepless nights. I searched on forums, called customer support, and wallowed in guilt. My dream project, the green oasis I had envisioned, was now nothing more than a mirage. Just as despair was starting to creep in, I came across an article in a newsletter detailing green technology. Buried among stories of advances in solar energy and carbon-free cities was a piece on CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN, a team that specializes in recovering stolen cryptocurrency assets. They referred to their work as 'digital sustainability,' restoring not just wallets, but financial futures.
I reached out to them right away. They treated my situation like an architect's blueprints, detailed, innovative, and built on trust right from the first call. Their head tech, who might as well be a moonlighting detective, dismantled the malware that had duped me. They tracked the breach, mapped the transfer, and started their recovery protocols. Daily, I received reports, not mechanical but human, genuine assurances. They laid out each step like sketching construction blueprints clear, step-by-step, detailed. The twelfth day was the day the phone call came. My Bitcoin was okay again. Each virtual brick in place once more. I dissolved, this time not with hysteria, but relief. I Thought My Future Was Built—Until It Crumbled I thought my future had come crashing down until I came across CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN. CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN did not just retrieve my investment. They restored my dream. Today, the foundation for my eco-housing project is stronger than ever, and so is my cybersecurity.

A few months ago, I made what felt like the worst mistake of my life, I lost access to my Bitcoin wallet containing a staggering $500,000 worth of BTC. Yes, you heard that right: half a million dollars! This wasn’t just an amount of money; it was my life savings, my retirement fund, and my secret stash for that dream vacation to a tropical island, goodbye, piña coladas! The stress was unbearable, and my sleep schedule? Well, let’s just say I was starting to resemble a zombie auditioning for a horror movie. I was too ashamed to tell my family. I mean, who wants to explain to their parents that their golden goose turned into a rusty old chicken? Instead, I confided in a close friend, who immediately recommended ADRIAN LAMO HACKER. He’d heard about them through a colleague who had experienced a similar disaster. At first, I was skeptical—after all, I had the same faith in my old flip phone’s battery life during a three-hour movie marathon. But desperate times call for desperate measures, so I decided to give them a shot. When I reached out to ADRIAN LAMO HACKER Via email: Adrianlamo@ consultant. com/ WhatsApp: +1 (909) 739‑0269/ Telegram username: @ADRIANLAMOHACKERTECH, I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism. They didn’t promise me the moon or that I’d be sipping cocktails in the Bahamas by sunset. Instead, they assured me they would do their best, which, let’s be honest, was way more reassuring than my uncle’s “It’ll all work out” mantra during family gatherings. Their calm approach gave me hope, even when I was pretty sure my Bitcoin had taken an extended vacation without me. Throughout the recovery process, they kept me updated at every turn. I felt like I was in a reality show, except the only drama was my anxiety levels and my ever-growing collection of stress snacks. Finally, after a few nail-biting days that felt like years in a time loop, I got the message I had been praying for—they had recovered my wallet! When I logged in and saw my balance fully restored, I broke down in tears—happy tears, mind you, not the kind you shed when you accidentally step on Lego. ADRIAN LAMO HACKER didn’t just recover my funds; they saved my sanity, my future, and my tropical vacation plans. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, trust me: these folks know what they’re doing. They’ll have you back in control faster than you can say, “Where’s my Bitcoin?!”

HIRE A EXPERIENCE HACKER TO RECOVER SCAM BTC & USDT WITH SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL
Accuracy is my business, but one spoofed email ruined all that I had built. I am an attorney who prides myself on being able to detect lies, but the scam this time was flawless. A bogus legal notice arrived in my mail, with the same tone and crest of a familiar regulatory body. Panic overwhelmed me. I clicked on the link, entered my Bitcoin wallet login credentials, and in minutes, my $1.05 million portfolio disappeared into thin air. The realization hit like a gavel blow. My palms were moist, my heart pounded in my chest, and my office walls seemed to close in on me. I pictured the headlines—a lawyer misled, reputation destroyed. I buried my face in my hands, seeing the carefully laid plans of my future disappear through my fingers. Desperate but resolute, I enlisted the help of a friend I trusted in the form of a lunch invitation. Over half-caf coffee gulps, I unloaded my humiliation. He leaned in closer, his voice in a whisper, and spoke two words that would change reality, SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL. It was as if calling a covert agency. Their staff, from the first call, appeared to exude professionalism and secrecy. They listened to her unbiased, their queries pointed but subtle. Several hours later, their cyber investigators had embarked on a digital trail, analyzing blockchain transactions with the surgical skill of experts. Each day had top stories that felt like a page from a suspense novel. They tracked my compromised Bitcoin through an underground network of washing wallets, peeling away layers of cyber cover like amateurs. Their retrieval team navigated its way past international crypto regimes, exploiting gaps and freeze orders. Within only three weeks, I received the call. My money had been retrieved, every satoshi restored. Such a feeling of relief swept over me that I had to sit down. It felt as though I had won a case hopeless to win, yet this was one that mattered deeply to me. SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL did more than retrieve my funds. They restored my confidence. Their detailed forensic report now sits in my files, a weapon in my criminal complaint against the fraudsters. The level of professionalism they demonstrated rivals the best legal teams I’ve worked with. If you think it can't happen to you, think again. And if it ever does, call SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL. They are the silent guardians of your online future.

HOW TO HIRE A BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
I had spent $410,000 worth of Bitcoins for the sole cause of keeping alive the passion for the conservation of historical documents and valuable manuscripts rotting over the centuries. This was the work for the remainder of my lifetime, keeping history alive. But all this could have slipped by through one small error.
I lost the seed word. It happened when the office where I work went through its routine sorting through the archives. I'd scrawled my seed word and stuck it somewhere amidst the notes, deeming this the safest possible location. But when the sections were shuffled for work being undertaken, the papers were shuffled around, re-piled, and some bitterly discarded. My seed word vanished into the mixture. WhatsApp info:+12723328343
When I learned about what had taken place, I felt sick. That the Bitcoin wasn't mere money; the destiny of our conservation campaign hung here. That the idea I'd risked everything for something like this being one misplaced detail weighed heavily upon me. Email info: Adware recovery specialist (@) auctioneer. net
For weeks, I combed through each and every doc, each and every directory. Nothing. I'd given up until one day when one of the office researchers, also one from the research side, heard about ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST when he was studying blockchains. Like a small beam of light. Website info: http s:// adware recovery specialist. com
I contacted their support, and from the very start, when the very first call went through, their attitude towards me was respectful and patient. They did not mock me for the mistake—instead, treated the situation like some historical riddle waiting for deciphering. They were prepared from their side with professionals for data recovery under complex circumstances. Even for the conservation of virtual resources like Bitcoin, they had professionals. They worked together with me, stitching together the fragments and morsels that even I hadn't known were worth anything. They were able to recover some of the data lost by using creative recovery procedures, showing the progress the field has made. Telegram info: http s:// t.me/ adware recovery specialist1
Within two weeks the wallet became recoverable. $410,000,all the money was recovered. I was shocked and over the hill.
Beyond just recovering the investment, ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST also introduced me to some very valuable services, such as wallet security audit and long-term security plans for the digital assets, about which I hadn't even heard earlier. They not only saved my project, but also helped make me secure it even better for the future. Thanks to them, the future and the past is secure.2 -

As a retired real estate developer from Essen, Germany, I've dedicated my life to running a charity organization that supports underprivileged communities worldwide. Our mission is to provide essential resources, education, and healthcare to those in need. In 2017, I made a strategic investment in Bitcoin, hoping it would grow into a substantial financial resource to expand our charity's outreach.
Fast-forward to 2024, my Bitcoin holdings had skyrocketed to nearly $900,000 – a life-changing amount earmarked for future projects. Our charity was on the cusp of implementing groundbreaking initiatives, and this fund would be the catalyst. However, disaster struck during a trip to Europe when my phone, containing access to my Bitcoin wallet, was stolen.
Panic set in as I realized I couldn't access my funds without my phone. Despite having taken security measures, I hadn't properly backed up my recovery codes. The gravity of the situation hit me hard: all our charity's future plans, the livelihoods of our beneficiaries, and my personal savings were at risk.
Weeks turned into months as I desperately tried every method to recover my wallet. The stress was overwhelming, and the fear of losing everything was crippling. It wasn't just about my personal finances; it was about the countless lives our charity could impact.
That's when a fellow investor recommended Digital Resolution Services. Initially, I was skeptical – could anyone really help recover such a substantial amount of Bitcoin without access to my original device? But with so much at stake, I decided to trust them and reached out.
From the very first interaction, their team was professional, compassionate, and reassuring. They understood the gravity of the situation and walked me through every step of their recovery process. Their transparency and expertise instilled confidence, and I appreciated how they made sure I was comfortable with their approach.
The days passed, and I received regular updates on their progress. Their team worked tirelessly, employing cutting-edge technology and innovative methods to regain access to my wallet. And then, the miracle happened – within just a few weeks, Digital Resolution Services successfully recovered my Bitcoin wallet, restoring all $900,000.
Words cannot describe the relief and gratitude I felt. Tears of joy streamed down my face as I realized our charity's future was secured. Digital Resolution Services didn't just recover my Bitcoin; they restored hope for the countless lives we touch.
Their expertise, professionalism, and dedication are unmatched. They saved me from what could have been a financial disaster, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone facing similar challenges. TRUSTWORTHY USDT AND BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT REACH OUT TO FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY

Here's the scene: I'm cooking pancakes for my three kids, feeling like a breakfast hero, when my youngest kid launches syrup around the kitchen like a grenade. In my frantic attempt to move my laptop, which holds $480,000 worth of Bitcoin, to safety, I knock it straight into the sink. The noise of water and electronics mixing is louder than the laughter of my children. There's a slight smell of burned circuits in the air. Panic washes over me faster than syrup on the counter. My digital savings, my kids' future safety nets, are drowning beneath soap bubbles. Despair hit harder than a toddler tantrum. I imagined tuition bills piling up like dirty dishes. My heart was racing. All the savings plans that I had built were now dissolving in dishwater. I knew exactly how much Bitcoin was on that laptop. I also knew exactly how little I knew about getting it back. That evening, googling between sobs and half-eaten pancakes, I stumbled upon a parenting blog. In between advice for getting crayon off walls and surviving teething, a mom had casually mentioned FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY after her toddler had flushed her crypto wallet down the toilet. Her story was oddly comforting, because her Bitcoin was recovered. Maybe mine could be too. Having nothing to lose but hope, I called them. Their technicians behaved like old paramedics to a kitchen disaster. No questions, just action. They treated my drowned laptop with the finesse of a delicate organ transplant. I received daily progress reports written so clearly even sleep-deprived parents could understand. They interpreted the drowned hardware with the expertise of surgeons and the patience of preschool teachers. Ten days went by, and then came the email: Recovered. My wallet, risen from the dead. $480,000 back in my hands. I nearly dropped the spatula. "We can have pancakes forever!" I shouted. The kids cheered, thinking it was about syrup. They had no clue that I'd just funded their college, their future, and a lifetime supply of maple awesomeness. Now my laptop is kept away from the sink, and FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY is on my personal Mount Rushmore of heroes. They didn't just recover my Bitcoin; they recovered my peace of mind, and proved that even in syrup war anarchy, there are digital lifeguards out there waiting to save you.1 -
