I currently have a Surface Pro 3 and am wanting to upgrade. I'm a software dev student at my college and I'm noticing the performance is just slowly getting worse and worse. I recently reset it to start fresh, still slows down in overall performance and battery life.
Any good recommendations? If possible I would like to avoid the Pro due to the kickstand gimmick.

I'm currently taking an intro to Java programming class and the Prof is suggesting we use Jgrasp. He's open to us using other IDEs. What are some good ones y'all use?

Caller: I'll just run through the situation. I got locked out of my apartment and my friend is still inside. I tried calling him but his phone is either off, Do Not Disturb, or something. Anyway, I've tried remotely SSHing our desktop computer from my laptop and using the say command to get the computer to tell him to unlock the door. Unfortunately the volume is too low. I tried Googling how to increase it via command line. But I found nothing. Is there a way to do that?

M: I suppose the doorbell doesn't work?

C: *click*
