Fuck stripped screws. A big FUCK to all those manufacturers using fucking cheap screws. Fuck them all.
Now, I am stuck here. Don't have the equipment to remove this motherfucker.

My go-to for this is a rubber band between the screw and screwdriver. I'd say I have a 8/10 success rate with that method.

I once sent my laptop for repair, when I got it back, it had couple of the crews replaced by inferior quality.

P.S. they replaced it back after my complain.

You could also try light paper between the screw and driver. Done that sometimes, although I just get angry and bust the screw holder.

And if all else fail, you could solder like @Yamemori suggested.

I usually use a dremel for that, what was once a broken philips or a shitty double square is now an extra wide flathead.

try a star-shaped (not a hexagon!) screwdriver. Pick the one that fits the best and does not have any free space to move once on the screw. It's even better if the screwdriver requires some force to fit the screw (the metal on the screw head will deform a little and adapt to the tool perfectly). Maintain the additional pressure while trying to unscrew (slowly!) so the screwdriver does not pop out and mess up what's left of the screw.

Done that dozens of times. If it does not work/feel right, try other star-shaped screwdriver that might fit better. Haven't had a case where this trick wouldn't work yet.
