Speaking of bad dev days, what a week I'll be having.
Lead-dev: I've got some bad news for you.
Me: Client X?
Lead: Client X.
Me: How many pages do I have to change?
Lead: All of them.
Me: On how many of their websites?
Lead: All of them.
Me: All of them?
Lead: All. Of. Them.

@Grexius I really hope you can finish it quick and satisfy Client X.

Componentize your work and framework, change the components and voila 😋

    Exactly right, @demortes.
At least the lunch and coffee is always on them.

The problem isn't how easy to edit everything is, @seaskyways.
(Though it could use some work)
"Client X" has, I believe, 12 different websites that all have anywhere from 5 to 11 pages that all have a bunch of changes.
Worst part is that this same shit happens about once every 2 weeks.
    TL;DR: Fuck X.

@Grexius write the cms for them to make their own damned edits

This is where I appreciate CMSes like WordPress or Drupal. Not that they're pretty, but they do save a LOT of time otherwise spent editing individual static HTML files.

    Just fuck X!
I hope he is paying heavy money every single time for these changes

Thanks for the 100 ++'s guys.
I'm still not done with X's BS, but the moral support helps out nonetheless :)

@stackodev but when a critical security update comes out for either one, and you have 100 sites that instantly need updates installed....
    fun times

@garrettw automated scripting. WP-CLI. CircleCI. I like Pantheon.io for hosting because they have built tools for site management with devops at the forefront rather than as an afterthought. 100 site updates suddenly become manageable. Not fun, but manageable.
