Squarety4326yI have a custom builded pc from 2009.
There's the specs:
►Intel Core I7 3770k (OC to 4.2 GHZ)
►GTX 560TI DirectCUII 1GB
►4x4 Kingston (16GB) RAM (I don't remember the name)
►2x1TB Seagate HDD (1x Desktop, 1x Barracuda)
►550W Power Supply from CoolerMaster.
And much more..
The only things that I have upgraded since 2009, is the Motherboard, the Power Supply and HDD.
These specs are enough for me. -
I just have the one my work gives me. Lenovo thinkpad. They're ridiculously large.

Inspiron 7567. Because sometimes you need that graphics oomph and you'd rather not have a laptop that chokes on the heat output.

Anything with an IPS panel that is not an 🍏💩 (Rather a desktop setup but if a lappy, it needs a battery too)

sylargray26yAcer E1-572G. Im coding easly with this mate but it is impossible to see the screen in outside. Im carrying it on my backpack and using as a mirror in the outside😂

mahaDev22556yI don't have a choice. The shitbox at work and my msi laptop are all i have the choice of.

The thinkpad T430 for personal usa and rocking a dell latitude at work. Besides the overheating of the dell I dont have much to complain about it, but I'd always take a thinkpad over it.
Besides that, my 8700k based desktop whenever I'm coding @ home. -
AngryApe1536yMy HP 15 , 8GB of ram(upgraded obviously), i5 6th gen, AMD GPU. Not the fastest thing despite the specs.

datadex526yJust got myself a surface book 2015 and man is it the best laptop I have ever laid my hands on.

@oudalally I ask only for dell xps when i move to new company, it's good hw (display, touchpad, ecc...), i love the small bezels (more important than a thinner laptop, for comparison the macbook fan start more times than the dell and making more noise and heating ) and good drivers... In the end everything give you good performance, durability and reliability :-) (of course nothing is perfect, searching on internet you can find some issue, but dell customer care is amazing, they come to you and fix it really fast)
