!dev !rant but still funny story

As the goth of the dev team, sometimes people ask me several things about me.

I was working on my code. It was 3 or 4PM and a bored dev asks came to me

He: Have you ever tried to be a vampire?
Me: No, I’m just a goth
He: Do you know a vampire?
Me: Unfortunately no, but I’ve heard of them.
He: Do they suck blood?
I don’t know if he was asking because of curiosity or in a sarcastic mode. As usual, I answered in a polite way explaining him what means to be a vampire, the types (blood and energetic) and the difference between a goth and a vampire.

While I was explaining to him this, the boss came into the office, heard me talking about the energetic vampires and said “Wow wow wow! What is coming on here?!” 😂

    I guess the difference between a goth and a vampire is that vampires don't have day jobs. ;-)

    @irene @Haxk20 goths love the beauty of de dark (not the “evil” dark) in music, art, clothing, and vampires get “energy” from other humans, sometimes in a symbolic way, sometimes in a real way.

    @SauceBoss Emmm Thanks? 😅😊 Yeah, I’ve heard that but... Why? XD Well, that’s strange because in my city some boys dated me, some of they said “I don’t want we to be together, we’re too different” 🙄 so WTF, why do you date somebody if you don’t want to be with him/her in the first place? 😞

    @irene Fuck 😂 yeah, I have the same problem (I like a goth boy but he already has a girlfriend :c) Don’t worry, you’ll find another interesting girl 😁

    @irene Sadly that’s true 😕 that’s why I never had sex with somebody that dates me. I think nobody should have me it he doesn’t deserves me 😊 And I think it’s a good filter

    @irene Corp goth it’s a formal goth. You dress formal for an office work, but still goth. I wear high platform boots with formal vests XD

    Believe it or not, I’m single and virgin, and I’ve dated a lot of boys. I have several reasons for that: Religion (I’m christian, yeah, a cristian goth, and it’s possible), I’ve seen friends that have to marry too young because of a not planned pregnancy, and I think that’s terrible 😕 I know there are anticonceptiv methods, but somethimes they fail 😱 and.... Some men (fortunately not all) are just garbage when talking about the girls they slept with, so I don’t want that

    @ElizadeathRaven You have my biggest respect for your last comment.
    You sound like a quality woman (eventhough every person has a dark side). 😄

    I think the quality of both, women and men, I experience throught the days is quite questionable. It seems difficult to find a soulmate nowadays, especially if he/she should be somewhat intelligent and with decent common sense.
    I'd rather spend some alone time deep in code than waste money and time on an unworthy, exploitative human being. 😄

    I hope you don't feel pressured from society about your virginity. Waiting for the right moment that long just shows that you value it and your decision making in general.
    I lost mine with 24. 😉
