On a serious note, though, I wouldn't have minded edge if it didn't use Chromium as engine.
We're now getting a big as browser monopoly and Microsoft is pretty much the second biggest reason for this.
Seeing how/that Chromium slowly changes some stuff to non-W3C-compliant stuff will make that a big part of the web will only work on Chromium and Chromium based browsers.

So fuck both Google and Microsoft for this bullshit!

The issue is also that quite some companies write their sites based on Chromium only.
For example, Twitter only works about 50 percent of the time for me on Firefox but always on Chromium (fuck Chrome and Edge)
