@ilPinguino unfortunately the restart doesn't fix the problem. The only way is to attach my 2nd monitor and use it. I cannot use my laptop anymore without a monitor attached

@davide Now that is a solution I never even had with Windows 98.

Well, mostly because my computer back then didn't have more than one monitor port.

Big Sur been fine for me except one thing when I wake from sleep my left and right monitor's desktop's are switched.

Oh, and the new save dialog can go fuck itself.
