C0D4681382yA week?
Most companies don't even have you on boarded in that time frame.
1-3 months would be a better indicator of what normal looks like. -
Not enough.
From my experience, the 1st week is chaos and learning.
The 2nd week is complete rejection: being tired of the chaos and overwhelmed with the things yet to learn/do. Could last for 2 weeks
The 4th week is a renaissance and slowly starting to make sense of the role's BAU. Could last for several weeks-months
Wait for at least a month or even two. If you make the decision on the 2nd week - it will most likely be a negative decision, based entirely on emotions. Wait for them to settle before making the call.
That's my rule of thumb. Applied 100% every time: for myself and others around me -
A week is too short of a time to be able to make decision IMO. I would provide feedback on what is wrong and see their response, and how they react on it. Also sometimes there is a valid reason for what you’re experiencing, and that might not be obvious immediately when you start. All in all it takes time, and it might take a couple of months for you to be sure if a place is a complete mess, or if they’re headed in the right direction and trying to make things better. No company is perfect, it’s a matter of what can you accept from that work environment.

I would say: keep observing and watch out for any red flags. They are usually a sign to get out.
-
Normally not. Some months should be enough though.
But be aware, that the quality of a company might be subject to sudden and extreme change. so there is always some unpredictability left. -
jeeper59682y@C0D4 yea for a week you may just be going through a stupid period. Somebody could have had a dumb idea on Monday and everybody is just groupthinking along until the weekend
-
Give it a month. But if you feel it it is probably because you are right. 🤷🏼♂️
-
Well... Gave it a couple months. It's shit, I'm making moves to move onto the next 😂
