"Hello world"

Which mechanical keyboard do you recommend me to use for coding?

And what about mechanical switch ?

Any full sized one you like. If you don't want a loud one, choose one that doesn't make a lot of sound when used.

It's kinda personal. I like to feel the feedback but not hear it. So I have cherry brown. I would like a little bit less resistance. I've actually got two of the same brand with the same switches but they feel vastly different. My first has a lot of residence and that has to do with the stability of the keys, not the switches. So make sure you just try a bunch of em out.

I just use logitech keyboards. If they fail I am not out $300, only $50.

unpopular opinion: i prefer a generic 20-buck-rubber-dome keyboard to ANY mechanical keyboard i've ever typed on (or had to listen to).

    mechanical keyboards are overrated.

@tosensei yes, and many times they're high. Bad for wrists

    I prefer this: https://bol.com/nl/nl/...

@tosensei mechanical keyboards can be silent as well. A lot of mechanical switches don't make a sound.

@electrineer theoretically that's true, but practically, even the most silent mechanical keyboard i've ever heard is by far louder than a common off-the-shelf rubber dome. (plus: those silent switches type just awfully AF)
