So, in my Country there are people actually selling 40 empty folders for about 3 dollars... As a gift they also send an empty .doc file... And people are buying it!!!

    My grand parents didn’t know until just a few years ago that you could actually move around and resize windows. Before that they just thought they stayed where ever those windows popped up.

    They also didn’t know that icons could be dragged around. My gran’s desktop was so messy and I was like “why don’t you move those around to make things easier to find?” She was like “you can do that!?”

    OH, and last year I was talking to my little brother (22) and he had been using the downloads tab in Google Chrome to access things he had downloaded. When I accidentally cleared the list (it’s a habit) he freaked out because he thought he had lost all his downloads. I had to show him where the folder was!

    Me: This world is pretty messed up lately, though there is still hope left
    World: lol, you joking right?

    @World I hate you -_-

    Who made Robux their national currency?

    At least if folders had names and were structured...
    Should try something like that, to see how much money one can make...
    Don't have time, so... Who ever does it tell us :p

    People just buy any shitty shit...

    What is this sorcery?

    Hahahaha the folders are named "new folder - copy (1)"

    Tinha que ser Brasil! (It has to be Brazil!)

    @brunofontes And that's why Brazilian people are the best portuguese speaking salesman...

    "Holy fuck shit fuck"? 🤔

    @gitpush Haha me too
    As Albert Einsten (supposedly) said "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

    As long as we exist, there shall be stupidity and ignorance. There is no other way.

    One thing I don't get is how people who don't know how to create folders learn to buy items in the internet.

    Shameful confession: I have never made an online transaction.

    @gitpush You would be surprised, but a few days ago there was another sale like this one, but with 20 folders for 10 dollars... And there were more than 1.3k units sold

    @World and how they would know how to unzip files xD

    @Robsonstc Exactly! Maybe its some new way to launder money? Haha

    Well... One guy got reach for a start up, asking money so he didn't had to work...
    There's even a south park episode based on that (and probably others like it) story...
    I just have to much shame and self respect to try doing something like that

    That .doc file really ought to contain a macro virus

    I don't even understand wtf this is. Buying folders? Like, do they think they are buying cloud storage space? This makes no sense to me. I am either too stupid to get it or too smart to wrap my head around the stupidity.
  • 1
    @MissDirection I know some people that do not have any idea on how storage works... They really think they are buying more space to save things on their computers.
  • 2
    @Robsonstc ok so my initial thought was correct. I get that most people are not tech savvy and are ignorant about tech, but it's shitty to take advantage of people.
