I would say it's 60% as significant as the moon landing was, if not more; a field of technology we should really focus on, but governments rather spend money on stupid war

So for the space fanatics here who didn't knew. SpaceX will launch their falcon heavy rocket today Can't wait 😊

I got out of bed at 2:10am to film the Falcon Heavy launch from my driveway, where I have a direct, due east line of sight to Cape Canaveral. I’m thinking “What a time to be alive!” and “Why didn’t I pursue the aerospace career I started in college?”

So I've been really excited about the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch today and my professor RESCHEDULES THE MIDTERM for the same time slot. Fml

I’m driving out to Cape Canaveral early on Feb 6 to see if I can get a good view of the first Falcon Heavy launch. The space geek in me can hardly handle the cool factor of Elon Musk having built a rocket company to send a car from his car company to ever lovin’ Sol/Mars orbit. If it scrubs, I’ll keep going out there until it launches. Wish me luck!

After watching the Falcon Heavy launch up close, I’m severely regretting having changed my major from aerospace engineering to computer science and then to information systems. Anyone else feeling the desire to go back to school and get a degree in something that’ll land you a job at SpaceX or some other company?

Rant: there's people in the world who don't properly venerate Elon Musk and they are wrong and it's a tragedy and there's even those who dislike him and I find that absolutely abhorrent.
